The fact that you were not informed that the elevator was none functional for a very long time now, and you would have to climb over 60 stairs before reaching the apartment. The basics were not provided like toilet paper, paper towel, hand soap, dish soap and sponge. They also need to provide at least 2 normal size mugs.

The bed was the most comfortable bed I ever slept on! I also love the shower, very spacious! The place felt homey!

Building itself is quite rundown and location was tricky to find, but host provided good instructions.

Located just off the bus stop from the airport and easy access to the ferry terminal. Worked well for one night for a family of 4 (one bed, one sofabed). Lucked into the mid-Lent "mi-Careme" parade which was really cool and right outside the building. Courtyard garden was nice. On 6th floor - elevator was working from 1 to 6.

The self-check-in was not very well organized; we found the apartment only because people from the neighborhood helped a lot. Also, the keys to the apartment were not working well, making it very hard to open doors, and the key for the gates did not open it at all. The elevator in the house does not go up from the 0 floor, so we had to take the stairs with our three full suitcases. Additionally, there was no soap, shampoo, dish liquid, etc.

The location was good for the transit purpose because it is near the ferry station and relatively near the airport. The apartment was clean and cozy.

The location of the apartment is very good. You can walk in the center within some minutes and the supermarkt as well as a bakery is right across the street. The apartment is spacious and equipped with an air conditioner. The owner responded very quick to all my questions and requests via whatsapp. I would suggest to turn the key twice when closing the door, as one time might not sufficient. But this is also something that you will be told when arriving at the apartment.

the flat is not designed for more than 2 people as there is only 1 room. the flat was FULL of mosquitos and we were not warned by the owner to bring something against them and neither they left something to fix it. the shower is flooding the bathroom if you are using the head above the head. the flat was not clean, we found a HUGE bug dead in the bathroom, right next to the shower (impossible to miss).

the flat was close to our main point of interest and also close to the city center. it had a supermarket right in front. also the bed was nice and there was coffee for the coffee machine. for 2 persons might be a good fit and the elevator was working. it was a bit of a hustle to find the entrance but we called the owner and they helped us.

It was difficult to find a way in. The whole building is fenced off at street level except one small area and it is by no means clear where to go, esp at night. The owners should tell customers this and provide ideas on how to get around this construction fencing. Or else be there to guide guests in. The only way we got access to the spot where the keys were secured was because some residents let us in through a gate. The bathroom looks good but didnt work well. One set of taps didnt work at all. Small towels, no bathmat. One bedside lamp was broken and could pose a fire risk. The kitchen wasn't very well equipped. No kettle. Overall not a great value for money compared to a similar place we stayed a different night.

Room was spacious and clean. Had a fridge and small kitchen area. Close to ferry docks, about a 15 minute walk. Bed was comfortable. Room was quiet. Grocery store next door although check its opening hours - rather odd.

The gate that the key lock box was on was not properly identified. There are many gates. The shower operation was a trial and error thing. The water flow control device has a broken lever. No instructions provided. The ceiling light fixture in the bathroom needs to be repaired. The automatic light and fan control turns on if you walk by the bathroom door. It should be relocated or reprinted to look inside the bathroom and not at the doorway...a shorter on time would also help. The TV was not connected to HDMI and we needed to find the proper setting via trial and error. Once connected it was fine. The water pressure at this apartment is VERY high. It should have a pressure regulator to bring it down to a reasonable setting. The high pressure results in difficult to move faucets and water hammer. The shower should have a flow reducing device or it results in flooding of the bathroom. A simple microwave operating guide would help. We were not familiar with this brand. We left the keys in the lock box and properly locked it by changing the numbers but were told the keys were not found there...a mystery. We determined the keys should be returned to the lock box but received no instructions on what to do with them after our stay.

Once we got the keys, it was ok. Nice decor. Comfortable bed.

The key and the gate near the lock box didn't work. The building is a bit run down. The area at night feels a little edgy but hey any downtown is a bit like that.

The apartment, kitchen and bathroom were nice, good as a base for a few nights. Coffee machine was nice too and the fridge is a good size. Supermarket is next door as well. Wifi and air-conditioning was good. Very close walk to town and the bus to the airport is in front of the building. The lock box was easy to find. Do read the instructions though. Close to the ferry terminal as well.

As I mentioned above, host very inflexible, check in was supposed to be from 2 pm and we had to wait until 3:30 pm to the unit to be cleaned. When I got the keys at the time of check in we had the very unpleasant surprise to see the unit the previous guest left behind (all messy). The instructions on how to find the property is very difficult. Not clear at all. Has to be updated. The building is super old, appliances is super dirty and old. No toiletries available, 1 toilet paper left for a family of 4. Pillows were yellow and hard as a rock and go on…..

Nothing. Very old building, dirty appliances, shower didn’t work properly, no toiletries at all, 1 roll of toilet paper, no tissues available, terrace very dirty, etc….

The description for finding the entrance to the building is not good enough. The keys to both the building and the apartment did not work well. And the front door of the apartment could not even be locked. My wife had to stay in the apartment while I shopped for food. The building is dangerous and in terrible condition. The apartment is on the 6th floor and the elevator does not work, we had to carry suitcases by hand. Also, all directions from the owner are in French. Not recommended for non-French speakers

Front Gate and Main door to apartment difficult to open had to jig the key around for a few minutes before gaining entry, uncomfortable first impression, was worried to both go out in case we could not get back in. Main apartment door looked like an interior door and was in bad condition, so we did not feel secure, locked it from inside at night then struggled to open it in the morning and also to lock it back. Air conditioning not working, very hot uncomfortable night as it was hot we had to open the windows and no mosquito nets so no sleep. Light above bed looked dangerous, not finished fitting. Not hot water to the shower… We had to struggle with a large suitcase up 6 flights of steps before arriving at the first floor lift, this should have been pointed out.

Lift not working, 120 steps carrying cases top floor. No water in apartment as apparently issues with Water Company. This meant unable have wash or shower . Just enough water in toilet have tinkle each. Lucky only stayed one night.
