We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United KingdomNeed to advise that apartment 3 is on the 3rd floor. 39 steps. Missing fire protection. No advice on How to escape in case of Fire. Worst still no escape in case of fire. The whole experience could be improved with a little more forethought. A check on the guest when they arrive, and when they reach out for help, help should be swiftly available. We were unable to access the rental, until the following day, so had to seek alternative accommodation. Nightmarish start to what could have been lovely break.
The Location was not bad. Need to advise that apartment 3 is on the 3rd floor.

FinlandLocation was perfect for our stay. We were in town at the carnival season, and the parade went from our street. We were able to look it form the balcony :) The appartment was nice and spacy. Just like in pictures. The other balcony is at the quiet side inside the house.

GermanyNo mosquito nets, which meant that after going out on the balcony/kitchen, the apartment was filled with mosquitos which bit us all night. I would have expected some toiletries in the bathroom.
Nice apartment, the outside kitchen equipped but it could be better. Good WiFi. Close to the city centre and it has quite a lot of shops around. All indications clear for how to get in the apartment, easy to find.

FranceThree floors without lift with suitcases was difficult with children. No hand tower, only 2 towers for 3 people, it was so hot not even a bottle of water, the fan in the sitting room isn't going , old and dusty. A mat is needed to dry feet when you come out of Jacuzzi. The appartement was so basic for the price.
The location was perfect for us, the host provide information quickly. The Jacuzzi. The appartement was clean and tidy.
