How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

All ok, just i thought they should have more choice for breakfast, like omelette or maybe sliced bread? Second day, there is no sliced bread to toast. First day we toasted some sliced bread. So i dont understand why they dont put everyday
We had great time at le Rotabas, need improvement in terms of the food choice during breakfast Thank you to one of the staff, a nice lady ( she was pregnant, I asked for her name but not sure) for being honest, I forgot my handbag at the lobby where there is all my cash, she kept it and return to me. Thank you dear.

The rooms were not super super clean (but I wouldn’t say it was dirty either though). The A/C was not working properly

The hot water supply, the walk to the beach and the pool.
The Cabins are lovely from the outside and the gardens are all beautifully maintained. The restaurant is okay and the parking is restricted. It is a 30 minute walk into St Anne on a busy road which is poorly lit at night. The access to the beach is a five minute walk through some less than beautiful landscapes but the beach when you get there is really amazing. The staff were all lovely but our cabin was dated and had no hot water two of the three days we were there. The other cabin with our kids in it was less dated. The pool area is really poor with nobody using it when we were there.

A little difficult to find, google map gives wrong direction.
Nice clean comfortable room, close to good beach. Good restaurant short walk away.

Check in seemed very complicated and there was often no one at reception, bar opening times also seemed to be irregular, but there’s a nice snack place almost next door.
My room in one of the chalets was very good, clean and comfortable. It’s a very peaceful setting and the grounds are very pretty. The breakfast was basic but fine. It is a 20 - 25 minute walk into St. Anne, if you don’t have a car it’s along a busy road (you can also walk along the sea if it’s daylight). The beach, which is only 5 mins away is lovely.

Cleaning times should be planned between checkout and checkin : a worker cleaned our outside area with high pressure water while we were inside.
Contact with staff is easy, breakfast is OK, parking at the hotel is a plus.

The breakfast was okay, but could be a little bit improved
The room was nice and clean with AC, a minibar and terrace. The hotel is just a 3 minutes walk from the beautiful Caravelle beach and you can park your car for free. Staff was really friendly and helpful!

We did not use the swimming pool, but looks like nobody did. And honestly, we did not really have an opportunity to go there, the beach being so close and so great ! Slow service at lunch.
We were here for wind and kitesurfing at the caravelle beach, location and comfort was perfect this purpose. Rooms in Bungalows with small terrass in front, setup was perfect for handling watersports equipment and cool down. Good level breakfast, not 3-stars level but did the job and launched well our days. We enjoyed the lunch as well, basic but good street food between sport sessions. Great for our purpose, I would choose higher end for pure leisure/tourist mode.

It is great place to stay near the beach in St. Anne. Real pearl and value for money. The staff is super nice and there is parking on spot. The rooms have both a/c and ventilators. Clean and nice atmosphere.

Overall, the property would need a deep renovation. In our room, the shower was falling from the wall, AC was very noisy (hard to keep it on at night), the wc flush was leaking (they fixed it when we raised it). They did not offer to give us another room. The fridges in the dining room were very dirty! The restaurant was closed in the evening during our stay. The breakfast was very poor, and some products did not seem very fresh.

Nothing to complain, really
The owner was welcoming, thoughtful (she called us by 7pm to know when we would arrive). Perfect strategic location: right next (200m/2min) the very popular La Caravelle beach. Private free parking provided. Besides the hotel restaurant, there are few more restaurants nearby to enjoy local food. Very good experience for families and/or 1st time comers.

A little noisy from the hotel next door at night. But this is to be expected.
Great room, close to St. Anne. Helpful staff, even when we had made an error on our booking. They went out of their way to make sure we were still accommodated and welcome.

Very close to the beautiful public Club Med beach. Super friendly and English speaking staff. Rich breakfast and clean rooms. 10 Points for this very good 2 star hotel.

It was very hard to find someone that speak English Reception hours where always different, so you never knew when someone was gonna be there.

Seems that reception don't have standard hours, so it was very hard to get a hold of someone when you needed help. Also, not English speaking as they advertise. When we check in at 7 pm, our room didn't have any towels, so we needed to go back to ask for them in reception.
Location, right next to le Caravelle beach. Breakfast included, nothing fancy, just some fruit, coffe, selection of breads and spreads.
