“The staff was very nice and welcoming, I arrived early (around 11.30 am) and Μερουλα invited me to use the swimming pool while waiting for my room to be ready. The room was ready quite fast and I am grateful for that early check-in. As for the room itself, everything was perfect, the bed comfortable, a nice balcony. The swimming pool is great. Βλυχάδα is a beautiful place that I recommend to whoever wants to stay away from the crowds. The sunset from this beautiful black sand beach is amazing.
Μερουλα was also very kind to speak to me in Greek as I am learning the language. Thanks for the practice, it's thanks to patient people like her that I will improve !

It is at least 20 mins away from the main town of Fira and taxis are very expensive, so just something to consider.
Highly recommend booking in a cruise, we didn’t do this through the hotel but they had options available. We did a sunset cruise and it leaves out of the front of the hotel!
