The host, Dimitri, is not only incredibly kind and welcoming—he’s also the architect who designed and built this stunning four-room hotel himself. Every corner of the place reflects his eye for detail and love for what he does. Dimitri went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. He shared the best local tips, helped us book the most charming restaurants, and even arranged boat trips for us. Thanks to him, our days in Symi turned into a true dream holiday. Do you have a friend that has a house in Symi? If not, staying at this hotel is the closest thing to having one. The owner lives on the island and is a well-respected person which means you will be looked after if you mention you are staying there. He knows everything about the island, what's good, what isn't and is always there to assist. The hotel was the house of the most important benefactor of the island which has been beautifully renovated, so if you enjoy history and authenticity, this is your place. The rooms are majestic. The cleaning is top-notch. There's a bowl of fresh fruit everyday which is a nice, welcoming touch.

Quiet waterfront location on the edge of the town, Breakfast was a help yourself table with coffee machine, which was adequate. Best things about the stay were the intimacy of the property (4 rooms), the terrace with a view of the town and the bay, and most of all, the exquisite taste of the restoration and conversion of a historic mansion into a boutique hotel.

The traffic on the street from the Harbour in front of the house is not always nice for the ear.

There is nothing here that disturbs the eye. On the contrary: many small beautiful details throughout the house. In general: beautiful rooms, the terraces, the seating outside of the rooms. Nice, the possibility to make tea and coffee at any time, the fruit on the table, the cakes, the biscuits.

Very friendly and helpful owner. We loved our stay... beautiful design, very close to restaurants and great for seeing all the boats come in. Big shower and room decorated nicely. Access to huge balcony with great views of Symi. Thank you Dimitris.

The light in the toilet was too deem to our eyes.

style and ambiance. the proximity to the port. the building was magnificent. the balcony was an amazing part of the hotel. it is definitely a boutique style hotel. the service was amazing. correspondence with the owner was great. he had good suggestions for restaurants and activities. superb experience.

Breakfast was a few dry biscuits not very nice and left under glass cake keepers for days until they were stale The cleaners were there gor much of the day with their children running up and down stairs making a lot of noise. I came back to the room to sleep in the afternoon but there was too much noise.
