The place was beautiful, comfortable and had everything we needed.

This was the best place we stayed in during our trip. The host Andreas who is Greek-American was so helpful with tips and restaurant reservations and details about the city that it was an ease to navigate this super great city immediately. Location is top notch, the apartment was very modern and fully functional with details down to various pillow choices for softness. Would stay again in a heartbeat

Andreas was a great host and helped us find things to do and places to eat. The place was nice and cool with AC. Everything was clean and we felt very comfortable.

There is nothing I did not like about the property.

We loved everything about this apartment. The host couldn’t be more attentive when we needed him, and was willing to help us in any way possible. He helped with providing us with local attraction options, dinner reservations, directions, etc. The property itself was wonderful. Outside temps during the day were in the triple digits (Fahrenheit) yet the apartment stayed cool even with the air conditioning turned off. Everything was clean and new with modern amenities like rainfall shower heads and a Nespresso coffee maker to name a couple. Spacious enough for my 2 kids who had their own beds which was a must, large open living room/kitchen area was awesome. An outside refuge was also welcoming, sitting beneath an orange tree drinking morning coffee was great. The location couldn’t have been any better either; just a few short blocks from the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum, along with the Plaka neighborhood made getting to these places very easy but was still far enough away to not feel like we we in a “touristy” neighborhood. The walk to and from the apartment to these places was wonderful and well lit/very safe at night. Overall the best experience I’ve ever had across AirBnB, VRBO and Booking combined.

Nothing. There was absolutely nothing any of my family members could think of that we didn’t like about the property.

My kids loved the hot tub. The apt is very nice and update with two spacious bathrooms. The location is a couple of blocks away from the Acropolis. The owner is super attentive and will give you a helpful 15 min tutorial when you arrive about the apartment amenities and where to eat nearby.

The WiFi was spotty at times in the bedrooms but the owner gave me a second WiFi password I could use to fix that. He’s very attentive to any needs.

SV Acropolis is an oasis in the gorgeous Koukaki neighborhood. It is generously equipped with everything you want and more. The bathrooms are very spacious, a luxury in Athens. The beds were very comfy and the air conditioning was top notch. The WiFi satisfied our teens! The courtyard and hot tub our afternoon haven after shopping and site seeing before heading out in the evenings. Andreas is very friendly and passionate about his neighborhood. He gave us many recommendations for places to eat. All were great. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

incredible location near acropolis museum in chic neighborhood - immaculate apartment

Location!!! Walking distance to everything but quiet and peaceful neighborhood after long days. Updated interior and lots of space to stretch out and relax. Outdoor patio and hot tub were great additions to relax. Andreas was a great host. Excellent and quick communication and we used most of his recommendations through out the city to make our trip more efficient and enjoyable. Truly a great stay all the way around. If we head back to Athens this is where we will go for sure.

Clean, beautiful apartment in an absolutely phenomenal location. Andreas and Lucy go the extra mile to make your trip to Athens memorable, comfortable and wonderful.

Our vacation started with a 2 night stay at this property prior to our cruise. From the moment we arrived, every detail of this property exceeded our expectations . The location is perfect, the apartment is modern, spacious, well maintained, beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. We loved the private courtyard and enjoyed the hot tub after a long day of travel and sightseeing. As amazing as this property is, the real highlight is the host, Andreas. He warmly greeted us on arrival, oriented us to the apartment & neighborhood. Andreas made recommendations for restaurants and even some reservations for us. He was available to answers questions and had some surprises in the fridge for us. He is trustworthy, kind and truly made our visit memorable.

Location was convenient, the apartment was practically new and impeccably clean. Andreas was also very welcoming and extremely responsive.

Nothing to not like.

The apartment is in the basement, there are no windows in the showers, the bedrooms have partial windows, a nice yard with a pampering jacuzzi, a well-equipped kitchen, an excellent location in a central location and on a quiet street.

The landlord is strict, we asked for more towels and he refused to provide them, and answered us in a disrespectful manner

This was our second stay at the Acropolis Residence. We were here two years ago. We were welcomed by the host, Andreas, as if we were old friends. As before he was great at giving us recommendations, suggestions and advice on everything from what to see, where to eat, transport and anything else we could think of. He did everything to make our stay in Athens a wonderful one. The apartment is delightful. We love the little garden, the hot tub, the artwork, the facilities, the cleanliness, the very comfortable beds, and the fantastic location. A lot of thought has gone into every aspect of this apartment and it really shows. Note, it is reached by a flight of stairs but Andreas carried our cases for us. The apartment is within walking distance of almost all the must see attractions. It was very quiet at night and felt very safe. The bed was really comfortable. This year we went to the National Archaeology Museum, which is a little farther away and is best visited by taxi. They have a fantastic collection of ancient art and artefacts from all over ancient Greece. On line booking seems the way to go, with timed tickets, yet we still had to wait in line for about 30 minutes. For a great view of the Parthenon at night we went to the hotel almost opposite the apartment, bought a drink from the bar in the lobby, then headed up on the elevator to have our drinks on their rooftop. We had a fabulous view of a great swathe of the city too. This is without doubt the best place we have stayed in Athens by a long way. Our stay just wasn't long enough. Thank you Andreas.

It could not have been better. Such a great stay - next to everything. Amazing hosts, amazing space. Amazing everything!

We had an incredible stay. Andreas was a wonderful host and the property surpassed our needs.

- The perfect location. So close from everything by feet! - Andreas was a lovely guest, giving lots of recommandations and always making sure we have everything we need. We also asked him to book us a driver from the airport to the apartment and that driver, Kostas was also very friendly. Thanks a lot again for the lovely stay.

Perfect host and location. Very comfortable accommodation fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. The host Andreas, could not have been more helpful providing us with lots of information on places to eat, local bakeries, shops and places to visit. He organised our transport to and from the airport also which was very helpful.

SV Acropolis served as an excellent base for our two nights in Athens. Andreas and Lucy have considered every last detail to make it a home away from home, and they went above and beyond in supporting our adventure in the city. I would recommend this place 10/10 times to anyone looking for a place to stay in Athens.

The property was beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. The location was central to everything. Andreas was the best host. He gave us an orientation of the local restaurants and activities. We fell in love with Athens because of this. The kitchen was well stocked with complimentary beverages. The beds were comfortable. The hot tub was relaxing after a long day. This was one of the best apartments we have ever stayed in while visiting Europe.

The location was perfect no car needed within 5-15 min walk to anything you would want to have or experience. The property was perfect for our family of 5 in all aspects. The highlight was Andrea’s, he was the most gracious and helpful host and went beyond. Every recommendation he provided was spot on. Thank you Andreas for making the end of our family vacation wonderful, safe and comfortable.

Most disappointed that We did not book a longer stay.

We had a fantastic experience during our stay in Athens! The accommodation was perfectly located, making it easy for us to explore the city's main attractions. Andreas was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. He provided us with amazing tips for family-friendly activities and local dining options, which made our trip even more enjoyable. Traveling with young kids can be challenging, but the host was very accommodating to our needs, making us feel at home. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommend for families visiting Athens!

It’s hard to describe what a fantastic stay we had. From the very beginning Andreas was incredibly helpful sending us useful information before our stay and responding to any queries we had incredibly promptly. The property itself is in a fantastic neighbourhood with some delicious places to eat and drink only a short walk away. The property was also immaculate with everything you needed or wanted. Andreas was easily contactable for the duration of our stay and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. If all properties were run like Andreas it would transform the hospitality industry. We will be back and staying for much longer next time!

Andreas was an incredible host and thought of everything. He met us when we arrived, showed us around the house. He gave us many fantastic suggestions and helped us to book restaurants etc: The house also had every appliance, food, drinks all provided.. The location was also incredible. Could not recommend more.

Location was fab. Facilities were all as promised, the outdoor space with hot tub was a gorgeous space in the middle of Athens. Super comfy beds, wonderful linen, dressing.gowns for all. The welcome package (milk, OJ, wine, beer etc) was incredibly generous and really appreciated. Andreas, the owner, was fantastic in reaching out before we arrived in Athens, with lots of useful local info, and offered to book everything for us, including a couple of taxi rides. I would highly recommend this apartment, we were only sorry that we only had 2 nights there. It would be very easy to spend lot of time in this wonderful place, with loads to do in Athens. It's also in a wonderful neighbourhood full of good bars and restaurants, all very easy to walk to.
