Needs refurbishment. There are cheaper places to stay in Kavala which are more pleasant. Not recommended for those with mobility problems.

Booked for 3 bedrooms room. Gave us 2 single-bed rooms without TOILET!! Unfortunately, it was too late and we had to find urgently somewhere to sleep! The old lady in the reception told us it was Booking’s mistake !! She hadn’t any rooms available, although she confirmed our booking 30 minutes earlier ! Just stay away !

It is unimaginable to me that in the 21st century, in 2025, in Greece, a country of the European Union, a hotel would ask you to pay an additional fee of 20 euros for air conditioning in the room. The hotel is from a bygone era, when I was shooting a horror film, this hotel would be my first choice

Entrance through back of building into a dark dirty stairway (unstaffed) to access lift to hotel. A scruffy man was smoking in there. When we exited the lift no one was in the hotel - neither staff nor guests. We left temporarily then returned. Again no one there. Then suddenly an elderly lady came up the lift. She said she had been out to buy tobacco. She was brusque and rude. The room she showed us had a wonderful harbour view but the bathroom and beds were well below standard with a crusty hand towel each for ablutions. We left and obtained accommodation elsewhere. You should not be recommending g this place.

I loved the lady who welcomed us. She was up until late and took time to let us do the check-in. We were just doing a short stop in order to take the ferry early, the day after our late arrival. We could easily sleep and get up early to continue our journey. We had all we needed.

The building and the hotel floor was strange organising, very dark, very privately or family- like a big apartment floor, like you enter someone's old large apartment. The reception lady showed us the room and started to wonder if I am at the right place and this is my book accommodation. It was very different from what I saw in the picture and its description. Very dark, old-fashioned setting, with 3 very old and uncomfortable beds, that we could hardly sleep with horrible pillows and the minute you change position the is about to dismantle. The floor was damaged and uneven. When I tried to open the window walking close to the wardrobe the doors opened and it started to shake. The bedroom has only a cold water sink... and not nice to be used - not really a European Standard for a hotel in 2024.

The location was great and that was the reason I booked it, but my disappointment started the minute I entered the building. Although the building is facing two main busy streets our very old fashioned and unwelcoming room was quiet. the price was overrated for what was offered. There are better rooms, which actually wear pictured, but one gets a different one upon arrival. A new evaluation of the property is highly recommendable!!!

I loved the location of the hotel. It was very close to all must be visit areas. There was no parking area like every Kavala hotels but one and biggest parking area was too close to hotel by walk. I liked the view also, we stayed at the room which has balcony and the hotel has elevator. Also the landlord was so nice and helpful, thanks to her.

1. Wifi didn’t work the whole time we were there. Administrator wasn’t too much interested to fix it. 2. AC was absolutely useless 3. When I tried to bring up the issues, the administrator got defensive.

I am also a hotelier but I have never seen so much. It is an old hotel but the cleaning was bad, the room was almost as if it had not been vacuumed. There was dust everywhere. There were no slippers to walk around the room. The television was not working. There was no internet. There was no socket. The terrace was divided in two, actually two rooms could use it, but there was no exit from one room. Frankly, it did not look hygienic.

Only the location of the hotel was good.
