Reviews of Acropolis View Penthouse

This was an ideal home away from home, with everything we needed for our four night stay. There was excellent communication from the host before, during and after our stay. We found the property easily from the Metro station and we appreciated the various treats that were waiting for us when we arrived. We chose to use the lift rather than take the stairs to the 6th floor. Lots of storage space; a well equipped kitchen; comfy beds; and spaces to relax. We were well positioned for all of the areas we wanted to explore, and were received lots of great recommendations from the owner. It was lovely to be able to sit out on the balcony to hear the sounds of central Athens and I'll never get over the wonderful view of the Acropolis from the master bedroom! Thank you.

There was nothing we didn't like. The bathroom space was small, but this was not an issue for us.

The position was wonderful. Lots of eating choices close by. Great view of the Acropolis. Apartment had all your needs.

What a great apartment right in the heart of where you need to be as a tourist! We absolutely loved this place. 2 super comfortable beds, spacious kitchen, lounge & terrace. The bathroom is old town charming. Shopping, tourist attractions, laundry, restaurants are all at your feet. Bedroom window view of the Parthenon are spectacular. The host is AAA+++ & provides so many extras to make your stay feel special. Clear instructions, welcome cakes and drinks. Shampoos/amenities. We were provided everything we needed - without needing to ask!!! They were just there!! Thank you Filippos. Would love to come back one day.

The views from the master bedroom were amazing. Unreal to fall asleep and wake up looking at the Acropolis. Plenty of room for us 3, but could comfortably accommodate more. Master bedroom had a queen bed and there was a king bed tastefully tucked away in the main social area. Kitchen was large enough to prepare meals, although we ate local most days. Patio was perfect for an afternoon nap. Apartment was walking distance to many major attractions. The property manager was super helpful and provided suggestions for things to do and places to go. Neighborhood felt safe and there was paid parking for our rental car just down the street. A lift made transferring luggage easy.

Hot water was scalding! Took a few minutes to get the temp just right.

This apartment is a hidden gem please do not hesitate to book you will be very happy , excellent location, even better facilities and the host has amazing recommendations for things to do and see

Cleanliness, check in and out, amenities

Perfect location, very near all the sights but in a quiet street. Fabulous view of the Parthenon and the Acropolis slopes from the bedroom. Comfortable beds, nice big terrace, comfortable lounge. Filippos was a good host, communicated well, made sure we had everything we needed. He left us tea, coffee, cake, wine, a few cans of drink. He had compiled some suggestions about places to go, to eat, to drink etc. He also checked in on us (via WhatsApp) part way through our 6 day stay to see if we required anything more. Highly recommend

Wow! You won't find a better apartment in Athens. The view of the Acropolis, the gracious host Fillipos, the location in Plaka, the comfortable beds and living space. 5+ Stars - Highly recommended!

Most comfortable beds of our whole trip. Spacious lovely apartment on the top floor with fantastic views. Large balcony. Next door was a roof top bar, again with fantastic views. Convenient to walk to so many restaurants, cafes, bars, supermarkets, markets. Best location in Greece!

No cleaning or bed make-up service for our 6 night stay.

Very nice apartment in great location. Quiet residence yet only a block away from numerous streets with stores, coffee shops, restaurants and bars. Started out using taxis but metro stops were a handful of blocks away so started using the light rail which provides easy access to port and airport. Acropolis is 25 - 45 minute walk (depending on pace up the hill itself) and is indeed viewable right out the bedroom window. Host provided welcome treat, coffee, soda, water and restaurant recommendations. Very clean and up to date. Great spot to use as base to explore Athens. Would absolutely return and do highly recommend.

We were warmly greeted by Felicia when we arrived who showed us around the apartment and made sure we knew where everything was….we felt like family being welcomed home by Felicia! Filippos contacted us every day making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Such a kind, caring, helpful person! The apartment was absolutely lovely with special treats when we arrived…..couldn’t have asked for anything more. The beds were so comfy and the apartment was absolutely spotless! The view of the Acropolis from the apartment was spectacular! We would highly recommend this property to anyone staying in Athens. It is the perfect location to everything in the City and very near public transportation! We would not consider staying anywhere else on our return to Athens! My trip was too short!

The location is amazing. Stepping out into historic plaka within walking distance to acropolis and surrounding attractions, so many great restaurants and shopping. Host put a lot of thought into the place and we had everything we needed from an iron to a flashlight. Beds are SUPER comfortable. Wifi is great. Host met us promptly at check in and check out. 10/10

Fillipos is by far the best host I have ever experienced. The apartment was excellent and the location is superb. Everything was top notch!

Our stay at this Airbnb was nothing short of delightful! The space was cozy and felt just like home, equipped with all the basic necessities to make our stay comfortable. He welcomed us with freshly baked goods and a selection of drinks, making us feel truly cared for from the moment we arrived. If you’re looking for a warm, relaxing getaway with a personal touch, this is the perfect spot!

It was a lovely and comfortable apartment in a great location just enough outside of the tourist centre for it to feel like a peaceful retreat. Filippo met us upon arrival and departure - he was so helpful in orientating us to the apartment and to Athens on the map. He ensured we had everything we needed during our 4 day stay. It was also exciting that we got our first view of the Acropolis when we arrived in the apartment. There are great restaurants within a few minutes walk and easy walking to all the major sites. We would stay there again.
