Overall, we were satisfied with our stay, but there were a few downsides worth mentioning. The blackout curtain in the room was too short to fully block the light, which made early mornings less restful. The location, while convenient, is right next to a park and can get very noisy at night—teenagers often gather there, and loud motorcycles pass frequently. We had booked a room with a pool but didn’t end up using it, as the water was quite cold and the pool wasn’t heated. Additionally, we had a sun umbrella on our terrace which was taken by the host on the morning of our second day. Although she promised to return it the next day, that never happened. It was taken because of a serious problem with wasps.

The room was spacious, spotless, and comfortably cool thanks to the AC. The bathroom was large and very clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the location—just a short walk from the beach—was perfect. The host was friendly and responsive, quickly addressing any requests. Self check-in is great too.

In the evening, from around 8 PM to 11 PM, motorcycles circle the area and create an unbearable amount of noise, making it difficult to fall asleep, especially for families with small children. Additionally, the beach is dirty and far from the image of a well-maintained coastal area.

Everything was perfect – the accommodation, service, and amenities fully met our expectations. The location is convenient, and the staff were friendly and helpful. An ideal place to relax if you're looking for comfort and daytime peace.

Probably the loudest place in this small village, because of the teenagers gathering in front of the building in the evening. I would recommend for future travellers to reserve the apartments facing the backyard - no seaview, but you will get enough sleep. Otherwise the place was really good

Aelia apartments are really luxury - brand new, clean, tidy. The self check in is perfect for late arrivals. And the pool in the balcony is the next option for people travelling and working, like we did. You can enjoy the sun and water while waiting for a meeting or an answer to your email ❤️ Windows are pretty sound proofed, which can save you from the noise outside the room

Very cozy, modern and clean place. With a kind and responsive host. We were informed about everything - restaurants, cafes, ATMs, etc. everything to make our stay easy and fruitful. A wonderful town for a relaxing and gourmet vacation.

Aelia Suites was perfect.

We had a very nice vacation at Aelia's. The hotel is new, beautifully decorated and very clean. The host was very nice and welcoming and provided a lot of details regarding the village and the area. The private pool was the highlight of this accommodation, although the water was a bit cold for me. Although the hotel was wonderful and met my expectations, unfortunately the village of Nea Karvali was a bit too quiet, almost deserted, with only two taverns and no option to buy even a souvenir, and maybe that's why I did not fully feel the charm of Greece that I was used to during vacations.

Although our apartment located on the ground level was excellent we missed necessary wardrobe and storage space to keep our stuff. Anyway, our stay was perfect.

Perfect service, high level of comfort and cleanliness, very suitable for families with children. Good location of the property with (very close to the beach) all the facilities one may need. Quite place in a small village away from tourist crowds, not very commercial and touristic area. There a few taverns situated close to the property and other few places to eat such as delicious gyros and pizza. The beach bars and the beach itself are not special, but acceptable. There are several other beaches 25 minutes distance by car from Nea Karvali. We had excellent communication with the landlords Konna & Zisis and they provided us all the assistance and advice to make our stay perfect.

The only downside was that during our stay the annual village fete was held 30 meters away. Not one evening, but two, with loud music until 1:30 in the morning. It's not the hosts' fault, but the locals still could have closed at least at midnight, out of respect for the tourists who bring some money into the village. As it was our case, practically from 4 nights in two we couldn't rest. I repeat, it's not the fault of the hosts, we got this festival once a year, but it was better without. The festival itself is interesting.

A pleasant place, located very close to the sea. Quiet, clean, very friendly staff, a place with the necessary facilities.

Everything in the suite was new, it was comfortable and very clean. There was a coffee machine, refrigerator, plates and utensils for dining. We had an outdoor private pool which was fantastic. We also had a separate terrace with a table and chairs. There is free parking next to the building, which is only for guests. The beach is just across the street. It is quite and the drinks/food are not expensive at all. There is also free zone if you prefer that. The host was amazing, she gave us a lot of tips about beaches, cafes and restaurants and things to do in the area. Highly recommend it!

Everything was wonderful. The apartments are new, well equipped and excellently maintained. And the hosts are amazing. They gave us all the necessary information and valuable suggestions for the stay. If we decide to stay in this part of Greece again - this is our place!

as unrealistic as it sounds - but there is nothing to disappoint you! 🤷🏻‍♂️

It's a new property and everything is really top notch. It's tastefully done and thought for the complete comfort and needs of the visitor. No compromise on details! And it's clean like in a surgical room. This is one of the best hotels of this type in Greece that I have been to. Perhaps this opinion sounds like many others, but when you get there staying to the garden in front and the calm blue sea and wide beach area, and the hotel with the best location within walking distance to everything you need - from breakfast in the mornings to dinners in the tavern - you will be convinced for yourself. And when you meet the owners you will be left with the feeling that you are not coming for the first time:) This cool couple Konstantina and Zisis are so natural friendly, always responsive, and committed to the claims of every guest. And in addition , the most valuable were the many tips you got from them on places to eat, to visit - both in Nea Karvali and in nearby Kavala. Oh, Kavala - you must set aside at least 1 whole day of your vacation and go there - visit the area around the marina, the old colourful town, and the fortress (take the path that goes down, down and around the foot of the fortress in front of the sea. Fantastic panoramic views for 100s of photos! ) Kavala is a very beautiful seaside town, totally in love. 😍

The room was sparkling clean with amazing design. Everything is made with the guest's comfort in mind and with top quality materials. We loved the host, Konna. She was super kind and helpful providing us with tips and recommendations about the area and surroundings. Strategically located next to the highway to explore the entire area of Kavala (Kavala city is only 7 min driving), while the beach is 20 meters away with an organized beach bar. Free private parking area next to the building is a big plus. The Nespresso machine and complimentary capsules were quite welcome. Fast and easy self check-in and check-out. One of the most beautiful places we've visited. Thank you Konna, for the great memories. We'll be back for sure!

Excellent beachfront location as well as within walking distance from taverns, shops and bakeries. Everything in the suite was brand new, it is super clean and comfortable and it had everything we needed with an amazing and minimalistic design (huge plus the fully equipped kitchenette and the Nespresso machine with free capsules). It looks exactly like the pictures. Attention to details can be found in every single corner of the building. Hygiene on a very high level. The host, Konna, was very attentive and responsive: she inquired about our needs everyday, providing us with useful tips for the area. Easy and fast self check-in and check-out. Free private parking next to the building. We were very satisfied with everything and will be back for sure next year!

The hospitality, location and the style of furniture are in perfect relay with the new and modern houses. Nice weather and quiet at this time of the year. Houses are in front of the beach you can watch the sea and listen the waves. The hosts - they are heart of the place - very smile, fresh and cool young people.

The suite was clean, cozy, and equipped with everything we needed. The towels were softer than what we have at home. 😊 Konna, the host, was attentive and welcoming. The property is located very close to the beach. We were initially concerned about the noise mentioned in one of the earlier comments, and some young people did arrive in the evening. However, they were not too loud for us, and we were able to sleep with the window open.

Everything was great. I spent my birthday weekend there. It is such a wonderful place, close to the beach, and having private pool is next level experience. Highly recommend it for romantic weekends with your loved ones.

I recommend this wonderful place. We were welcomed by the hostess Konna. She is extremely nice and always ready to help with anything. She provided us with information about everything we needed (landmarks , restaurants, beaches) to have a cozy, relaxing vacation. The cleanliness of the suite was impeccable. The suite, on the second day was cleaned again, with everything changed and updated and they had left us a sweet compliment. The suites located 20 meters from the sea. We will happily go back there again.
