The location can be challenging if you’re relying on bus services, as it’s quite far and there are no supermarkets nearby. Make sure to stock up on food and water in advance. We ended up walking about 4 km to Fira to get supplies and explore the town. Hiring a car or bike is highly recommended due to the remote location.

A truly beautiful place with stunning surroundings perfect for photoshoots. The sunrise view from here is amazing, and it’s a great spot if you want to enjoy Santorini’s scenery without the crowds, since it’s private accommodation. All the staff was also very friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even better. Breakfast is amazing as well.

This property is breathtaking, the pool area has beautiful sea views, the houses are quiet and private and everywhere is kept immaculately. The team here are amazing, anything they could do to help make our stay more comfortable they did. They helped us plan our days so we could see as much of Santorini as possible, they arranged a rental car for us and had it delivered to the property. They ensured we were enjoying ourselves and made sure we were happy with the facilities. The houses were cleaned everyday. Everyone has a fresh breakfast together on the terrace each morning with beautiful fruit, warm options and freshly baked breads. We cannot recommend our stay here more.

Can't think of anything. The wifi doesn't work the best in your room but that is a given in any cave rooms. But once you are out it works perfectly.

It was an absolute amazing stay. The property was gorgeous and it's sea facing so you get a lovely view everyday. There is a bus stop called Saint Artemios right outside the hotel which takes you directly to fira and oia, which was a great help as I was solely commuting through buses. It was in bit of an isolated location which was perfect as you were away from any chaos and could enjoy your time in peace. Just remember to stock up on your necessities beforehand. The owners were really friendly and I can't speak enough of how beautiful the place was.

This place was absolutely fantastic! The nicest staff and beautiful rooms and surroundings. When we arrived, we were told that we had been upgraded to the honeymoon suite free of charge and that just laid the foundation to a wonderful stay. The staff couldn't be nicer and was extremely helpful with everything. Whenever we're going back to Santorini, this is the first place we're going to look up. 10/10.

The breakfast was very limited, mainly dairy and meat options. There is little privacy since the apartments are very closely located.

A really nice traditional stay in the heart of Santorini. The pool and the rooms are very nice, it makes you feel in heaven. Everything around was easily reachable by the motorcycle that the hotel helped us arrange.

It’s off the beaten path and does take some effort to go to the main towns of Santorini, they did warn me to get a car but if you don’t want to get a car this isn’t the best location

We had a wonderful 2 night stay here and loved every minute! The rooms are so unique - cut into the rock and ‘under the ground/in a cave’! The rooms were very clean, the beds wee extremely comfortable with top quality linen and towels. The rooms were lovely and cool. The surroundings of the hotel are just beautiful! It is well worth waking up for the sunset over the sea too! The breakfast was delicious! Fresh fruit, yoghurt, bread, cake, cooked vegetables, cooked bacon & eggs. The pool is wonderful! And the cocktails are great! Thank you so much for our stay - we will definitely be back!

How fabulous to stay somewhere with so much history. The church on the grounds is 600 years old. the rooms are very comfortable, loved the pool area and the food onsite was delicious!! Beautifully prepared fresh salads, Santorini pasta a variety of other options and everything was delicious. The staff are all so lovely and friendly and work very hard as a team to look after their guests. The premises was beautifully maintained with gorgeous plants and flowers. We really enjoyed the experience of staying somewhere so authentic and was a pleasure to have stayed. We will always remember our lovely stay with fond memories.

Aghios Artemios is truly a hidden gem, even more beautiful and welcoming than the photos suggest. The atmosphere feels incredibly homely, with spotless, spacious rooms and a peaceful setting far from the busy crowds. The staff were exceptional, making me feel right at home. I especially loved the delicious home-cooked meals. They used to arrange taxis for us. I celebrated my birthday here and every moment was perfect. I’m already looking forward to coming back!

This is a polished gem! The resort is ten minutes from Fria on the bus which stops at the end of the lane. Our room was great with a very comfortable bed, and all the conveniences you need. This is a unique site with the rooms either in caves or walls surrounding the property. Lovely pool and bar area where you can order lunch and evening meals which are delicious. Messini and her team are very friendly, like family really. Eager to help with anything and point you in the right direction. If we were come back to Santorini we will return here 100%

Distance from shops but if you have your own transport like a scooter solves that. Apparently there's a bus stop out the front of the accommodation as well.

The rooms were fairly spacious. The pressure of the shower was amazing. The views from the property were amazing. The food from the restaurant was also tasty

Would have loved a hot tub, but that is plentiful in Santorini

It looks dreamy, it has history and character, it is spacious and full of private, semiprivate and public spaces, it is so white and yet full of colour with those bright Bougainvilleas and blue doors and windows, good pool and decent tennis court, precious in Santorini, and the church telling you a little bit of people of the island with its dome posing every morning for the perfect sunrise. If you want to try a true santorini breakfast, you shouldn’t miss this place, “Mafalda” spoiled us everyday to it and M and are the sweetest host in the Island

We have stayed with my family in this incredible hotel that looks even better than in pictures. It was dream come true with beautiful view, rooms, kindest staff, delicious meals and cocktails. Hotel allowed us to have our little wedding there and we had the best time in our lives.
