Unfortunately there was a loud party nearby until 4am. The owners are of course not responsible for that. Generally I could imagine the location is in a quiet area.

The location was perfect. Plus the very kind transfer to and from the port. Our room has such lovely detailed decoration. A lot of thought was put into it, and was definitely appreciated. Great shower too! Thank you 🙏🏼

The host said she would meet me at 11.30 on the day of departure and drive me to the port. As she didn't show around, I left the apartment at 12.00 and walked donw the path to the port. She texted me at 12.15 that she would pick me up, when I was already down in the port. Not to mention that she forgot to charge me for staying, so I had to make a bank transfer when I arrived home.

Location is quite ok, few hundred metres to the centre with grocery shops and restaurants. The host met me in the port and took me with the car to the apartment and later I didn't see her again. She gave me some answers on my specific questions on the road to the apartment. Balcony was enjoyable in the evening with the sunset. Simple kitchen, no table in room ,only on the balcony, so when it is windy and cold is very unpleasant to have breakfast. It is overall a nice and quiet place.

Lovely, tastefully decorated apartment in a great location just a few minutes walk from the centre. We were fortunate to receive an upgrade as they were not fully booked which meant we had a separate bedroom and an adjoining living room. Wonderful balcony with a view. All in all a great place to stay which we would happily come back to.

Great location, lovely friendly host who picked us up and took us back to the port. All rooms have been newly decorated and are lovely and comfortable with everything you need.

Not a huge issue but there is a small kitchen area but nothing to cook on. So you could only make coffee and an sandwich. It seemed a like a bit of a waste of space. I wish there had been a chair in the room as there was certainly space. The water from the waterfall shower didn't stay in the shower stall due to the wall not being long enough.

Was picked up and returned to the port, which is always appreciated. The hotel is right on the edge of town so it is an easy walk to all the restaurants. The owners were very helpful with providing information. The rooms are well-styled and very clean. I loved the terrace for sitting and watching the sunset.

The rooms were renovated this year and done very tastefully. They are big enough to feel comfortable and bright and charming. We had a small patio where we could sit and look out over the harbour and Iraklia so a nice view. The beds are very comfortable and wonderful of wonders there were even electrical outlets beside each side of the bed plus enough other ones to plug in stuff / so many places have only one outlet hidden behind somewhere difficult to use. There are beside wall lamps bright enough to read by. There are plates and cups and glasses for two. And water kettles and a french press with coffee and tea. In front of our room there were plants - even grape plants so also a bit greenery to cheer it all up. The location is a few minutes walk from the center so convenient but also quiet. Manos the owner is quite friendly and helpful and quick to respond to enquiries. All in all it’s a lovely place and we enjoyed our time there very much and can recommend it highly. Oh - and there is even a small bottle of raki included so something more to enjoy.

We had a great stay at the Ailouros. Very convenient and close to the lovely Chora (a few minutes walk) and everything we needed was provided. We were picked up at the ferry and taken back there from departure which was great. For any day to day queries the housekeeping staff were brilliant and made up for the fact there was no reception or manager on site. I'd happily return to the Ailouros, hopefully next time for a longer stay.

Some mornings there is a lot of noise due to the cleaning process.

Breakfast partnership with a local cafe, in a close distance, was very nice to have. Prices were quite low as part of the partnership and breakfast quality was very high. Even if the room was on the ground floor, the views were wonderfull.
