The property exceeded our expectation. The location is good, the property (pool, bar, jetted tub, wine cellar) were exceptional. The views from the pool and restaurant are beautiful. The staff is helpful and pays attention to detail.

I stayed here in august 2025 and unfortunately had a terrible experience. My room was infested with bedbugs. I was bitten all over my body, suffered from severe itching and swelling during my entire trip, and my holiday was ruined. When I returned home, my condition worsened to the point where I had to visit a doctor. I now have a medical report and expenses directly related to this problem. Although I raised this issue, I was only moved to another room at the very end of my stay – far too late. The lack of hygiene and proper response from the hotel is shocking. This was not just uncomfortable, it was a serious health risk. The fact that no proper compensation was offered is absolutely unacceptable. I strongly advise other travelers to avoid this property until they take responsibility and ensure proper hygiene standards.

We stayed in the honeymoon suite. The view of Caldera is absolutely breathtaking, and watching the sunset go down on the private balcony with heated hot tub was the perfect way to end each day. The bathroom is spacious with really nice Apivita range of hygiene products. The location is great, mini marts, ATM, pharmacy, coffee shops/restaurants are all on the road behind hotel. We were greeted by Kon who made us feel very welcomed & provided us with lots of info and carried our luggage’s up to rooms. The hotel also arranged us transfers to/from airport and had our luggage completely taken care of and delivered/taken from our room. We didn’t have to lift a finger. The pool was perfect temperature, and has a fantastic built in sun bed and seating/spa jets. The day beds, lounges and towels/umbrellas around the pool are awesome, and the plants and landscaping are just beautiful!! I literally spent all day at the pool just relaxing and swimming. Our cleaning lady (Fotina) was a lovely person. She was such a hard worker and made us smile, and nothing was too much for her. Overall the property was absolutely spotless. The hotel floors are mopped constantly and nothing is out of place. The surrounds really are pristine and well cared for. The breakfast Al a cart was excellent, and there was a side buffet which was sufficient. We would definitely choose to stay here again.

Few minor improvements, which would have just made our stay even better would be: - No kettle or iron in room. - The bed (my side) mattress had a huge dip and was fairly noticeable. - Would be good if QR codes around the pool for easy access to order drinks. - Toaster in the breakfast buffet would be handy. However, the above did not affect our overall experience, enjoyment & recommendation of the hotel.

We were absolutely lovwd our stay at Akra Suites. From the friendly staff, stunning views, and beautifully designed rooms to the perfect location in Imerovigli. Everything was seamless and made us feel truly special.

Our stay was a truly wonderful experience! The location was perfect, offering easy access to everything we needed. Bars & restaurant just next the hotel! The staff were exceptionally friendly and always ready to help with a smile. The room was spotless and well-maintained, making us feel right at home. Highly recommended!

Good stay for a romantic getaway. We did 3 nights, location was ideal and the view was amazing. Very walkable to everything you need. Breakfast buffet was delicious everyday, lots of variety. Highly recommend doing a catamaran excursion as well!

Individual tubs are not heated and not private. The spa was underwhelming, you can skip it.

This is a beautiful boutique hotel with amazing views and great facilities. Breakfast is very good, the spa is excellent and the pool is lovely. There are several excellent restaurants and bars within metres of the property. The village is peaceful and quiet compared with the rest of Santorini, although not great if you are looking to go shopping.

The room could have been improved by providing a rail to hang your towels. Also, although a coffee maker is provided, a kettle is not. We would have liked to make some herbal tea. The places to lounge by the pool are limited and we found that some couples would claim their spot for the day, leaving few options for others. We used the spa, but were turned off the hamman because of the cost -50 euro for 30 minutes. This does not provide sufficient time to use the facilities and relax.

The location was great and the view spectacular. There were lots of nice restaurants with beautiful views. The staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast was great with an exceptional view. Overall wonderful stay.

not a complaint, but would suggest hotel puts a kettle in room to make tea, and ironing board and iron too. These are very useful for guests.

Great location with views of the caldera. The decor inside the rooms is very nice and the inside of our room was very clean.

We felt mislead by the advertisement of our room. The “caldera view with outdoor jetted tub” listing has several photos which show the best angles from several different rooms. It made the room appear more private than it was- we were put in a room directly in front of the walking path, with a semi obstructed view of the caldera only visible from two tiny side windows. The photos also showed an outdoor sitting area that was private and much larger than the one we had. There were also no cushions/umbrella set out and the patio was not very well cleaned (see photo- dirty table and tub water). We realize this was partly due to strong winds but also did not reflect what was advertised. Also note that the “jetted tubs” are not heated and were ice cold when we were there so we did not use it which was disappointing. To be fair to the property they are not advertised to be heated (though most jetted tubs we have encountered are) so we were definitely surprised by that. The front desk staff were lovely, but the two staff working the breakfast buffet were a bit rude.

My family and I just recently got back from our trip and our stay at Akra was hands down one of the best accommodation! I must not have been paying attention and did not realize that this is an adults only hotel but thankfully they were able to make an exception for my 6 and 3 year old kids. First I want to do a big shout out to Kostas who was literally the man who wears many hats from working the reception and the breakfast buffet in the morning - he was very helpful! The other 2 ladies at the reception were helpful too but couldn't remember their names. The breakfast spread in the morning is really good with a lot of good option. The premises is well kept and very clean and not to mention is very close to the main road so you do not have to worry about walking too many stairs yet you still get a very good caldera view. There is also a supermarket across the street and restaurants around the hotel. The room is big and the bed was comfortable. the hotel is about 15 minutes walk to Fira and about 20 mins drive to Oia. I highly recommend this place and I would definitely come back.

There was a staff member that stayed up all night just for us to checkout easily because we had to checkout very early
