Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GreeceThe breakfast is good value at 12 euros per person but I think that the quality of the food can improve slightly.
Akti Aegeou is in the best location on the island. It is located on a beautiful beach, around 12 minutes by car from the Port of Tinos. The owners and the staff are all wonderful and they made us feel super welcome.

CanadaThe bed was not comfortable and only one sheet each was provided vs a duvet cover.
Nice beach. Good location. Onsite restaurant and beach bar. Had a lovely sea view. Very friendly and helpful staff. Was extremely pleased to have my laundry done after 2 weeks of travel prior to our stay. Was also very pleased that the chef warmed up some leftover food for me. Also, the receptionist gave me excellent directions and recommendations for places to see. The pool was beautiful!!!

GreeceThe bathroom floor drain was too close to the shower and probably the pipeline was small diameter, so during showering time water would come out from the floor drain and the bathroom would flood. We had to be extra careful, not to slip. Although the food was worth it, the tavern was a bit expensive. It would be nice to allow access to the swimming pool for the guest's acquaintances.
Although the weather did not allow us to enjoy the beach, due to severe winds, the hotel's facilities were beautiful and well maintained, clean and spacious room with seaview, very smart system to let the staff know that you need room service, the hostess was very kind and friendly, there was a lifeguard in the swimming pool, great service by the staff, everything was charged to the room letting us enjoy our stay without worrying about payments, there is a nice tavern right next to the hotel with delicious traditional food and a spacious parking, which can facilitate the hotel's capacity.

Switzerlandas shared with the management, some of the shutter fasteners had broken off and the shutters were held back by hooks which were not strong enough to prevent rattling during the night in the wind (just a couple, but enough to make noise to affect light sleepers). This is however something management said it would address :-)
Pool and beach were our criteria - and were well met, though we didn't use the pool very much. It is worth noting that the pool is really for adults, not kids, as it doesn't have a shallow part. The beach is puurrrrrrrfect (homage to all the cats we see everywhere in Greece) for families :-)

United StatesSecond visit to Tinos but first time staying here - we will definitely return! The 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment is HUGE. The AC and WiFi worked perfectly. We loved the location with beautiful Laoti beach steps away from the pool. Things to know: there is a lifeguard for the pool which was a nice surprise. The pool closes from 3:30-6:30pm daily for quiet hours. There are plenty of sun beds and umbrellas for guests at both the pool (look around a bit) and beach.

CanadaThe pool was closed during the day for 2-3 hours and again at night. They said my husband could swim if he did it quietly but there were other people sitting around the pool so he felt uncomfortable going in, when they have signs up saying it’s closed, so he didn’t. He likes to swim everyday. We booked this place specifically because it had a pool then not to be able to use it except for one day was very disappointing. It also has lots of kids/families so if you are adults wanting to perhaps have a few cocktails this is not the environment for that. The bus schedule is not very good here and the last bus was at 5 pm to get back. So you have to get back that earlier or take a taxi. There is a rather steep hill to climb to get up to the bus and market. We were also charged the same amount for our rooms as the other couple we were travelling with and they had a huge room, double the size of ours, which again was very disappointing
We liked that it was right by the sea. They provided transportation for us, to and from the ferry and we really appreciated that

GreeceThere are not sunbeds and ombrellas on the beach like you see in the photos. This is due to a general problem with organized beaches on the island of Tinos (there is only one organized beach),but the owner failed to inform us beforehand, although we had booked the rooms from mid-April.The beach bar has no tables and seats and it is open from 9:30-21:00.The food on the restaurant is quite expensive. You can't use the pool from 15:20-18:30.The hotel provides towels for the pool and beach but they didn't tell us from the start,we had to find out on our own. Not very good sounproofing, you can hear the neighbours. There is nothing really to do in the area, just a couple of tavernas.
Very very friendly stuff.i would give a 10 to thata!Good breakfast.Comfortable parking.Rooms are very clean.
