Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. RomaniaSome window screens would be helpful because it’s difficult to sleep at night with the A/C on, which is located directly above the bed. If you open the windows to cool down, insects come inside. Fortunately, we found a mosquito repellent plug-in at a nearby supermarket, which made it easier to sleep. The bathroom is nice, but it could use a shower curtain for better privacy. Also, the bathroom window is see-through, so people passing by the room can see inside while you’re showering.
Everything was wonderful. The lovely older lady who takes care of the rooms was incredibly warm and welcoming, greeting us as soon as we arrived. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The well-equipped kitchenette was a great bonus, perfect for preparing simple meals. We were even treated to some complimentary snacks from the house. The beach was just a 10-minute walk away, multiple restaurants were only 2 minutes from the property, and the bus station was conveniently close as well. Plus, the garden was a charming and peaceful spot to relax.

There was nothing to dislike. Every facility in studio; air fryer, microwave,spotlessly clean and great attention to detail. Alexia is an amazing host with lovely touches of kindness to make stay special. Nelly who looks after the accommodation could not have been more kind of generous.. Location was wonderful. Outside seating area in addition to patio and a lovely dining area too.

RomaniaWhen we arrived there was nobody at the location. We had to text the host on Booking, ask for guidance and told us that someone will come to meet us. Few minutes after an elderly lady appeared from the back of the building . Unfortunately she didn’t speak English. It can be quite noisy because of the cars and if there is a party at Crazy Rooster. The fact that the AC is directed towards the bed makes it impossible to keep it on during the night. Also the cleaning could be improved. The kitchen is equipped for basic needs but there is no sponge or dish detergent provided. At our last day, when we had to leave the room, again we weren’t able to find the lady and were not instructed how to check out, so we left the keys inside the room and texted the host on Booking.
We liked the yard and the balcony. Also the fact that its located close to the supermarket its a plus. The cleaning is done every 3 days.

CyprusThey don't provide beach towels. No shower curtain. Only one air-condition to cover both bedrooms. Do not change bed sheets/towels as often as you wish. The door to the terrace was difficult to close and because of that the air conditioning was not working. The shower drain was clogged. Damaged lock on the bathroom door.
Great location, close to all the beaches. The scenery is wonderful. The apartment was really good with a big veranda.

RomaniaIt wasn’t properly cleaned, found some hair on the bed and dirt under the chairs in the corners of the room. The door to the terrace was difficult to close and because of that the air conditioning didn’t start, it took some time to realize why
Apartment was spacious, comfortable beds, nice terrace, good restaurants nearby and beaches we could easily reach by car in our case, but bus stop is down the street.

We loved our stay at Alexia Studio!!! We couldn't have wished for more. Ideally located in Kolios, away from the noise, but close enough to beaches, bars, restaurants, it was the perfect base to explore the island by foot, car or bus (bus stop 15 is only 5 minutes away, public parking on the street) Our studio was freshly renovated, decorated with style, sparkling clean, with a great terrace to enjoy evenings and a garden, and everything you would wish for as facilities (great shower, great bed, fully equipped kitchenette) The villa is walking distance (3 to 15 mins) to several beaches, pool bars and tavernas, and 100m from a supermarket. 2 of the best noted restaurants in Skiathos are just nearby: Crazy Rooster- funky greek taverna with great food, and awesome vibe, be sure to book Monday Greek Music Live event, and Infinity Blue- fish and sea food restaurant with breath taking views. The owner, Alexia, welcomed us in person, and there is a lady on site, should you need anything during your stay. The price-quality rapport is unbeatable! We would highly recommend this accommodation!
