Cleanliness could have been handled with a bit more attention and frequency. The pool was not as turquoise as it appears in the photos, and the kitchenette was poorly equipped. The term "hotel" is somewhat misleading – it would be more accurate to describe it as accommodation facilities rather than a hotel. Overall, despite a few shortcomings, it is still a good accommodation option for a pleasant stay.

The walking distance to the beach is acceptable. In the area, there is a reasonable variety of restaurants with different cuisines, although seafood places might feel a bit scarce. Cleanliness could have been handled with a bit more attention and frequency. The nearby beach is very good, but for something truly exceptional I recommend visiting Possidi Beach, just a 15-minute drive away.

We had a fantastic experience! The location is perfect, everything is within easy reach. The pool area is very clean and well-maintained, and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Fresh towels were provided every day, and even our dog was made to feel welcome! The owner was especially accommodating — on the first day, there were no free sunbeds, but after we mentioned it, he immediately found a solution and arranged space for us. He also gave us great recommendations for local restaurants and places to visit. Plus, there’s free parking available, which was a big bonus. Would definitely come back and highly recommend to others!

It was tricky with the temperature. Too cold with the air conditioner turned on, especially when you are with a small kid and you need to be cautious with that. We were accommodating a 2-floor room and it was hells hot on the second floor without the air conditioner turned on. Definitely something with the building's isolation can be improved.

Clear room. The host Alexandros is always there. He's passionate about his business, kind and takes it personal by cleaning the pool on his own. The property is still looking new.

I do not know what the law says, but I wouldnt call this a hotell. Maybe not even apartment since the kitchen did not even have a stowe nor a washing maschine. The cleaning was kind of like, one day the didnt clean upstairs but downstairs, one day towels for all 4 of us and one day only 3 or 2. Got a bit confused. I would like more hooks since there were now where to hook your clothes, towels or other stuff. We were 2 adults and 2 children, it was very responsive in the rooms. I think you would need a caar to be able to visit the best beaches in chalkidiki.

It was just like the pictures. Clean both inside and outside. Close to the plaza where you have a lot of restaurants. About 2-3 min walk to the bagary and store for breakfast stuff. We rented a car and there were a lot of parking lots outside the hotell. New towels almost everyday. Cleaning was ok. Alex was nice, asked for a second card for the room and he fixed it withing 2 seconds. He also gave us some suggestion of restaurants.

Labeled as a hotel, it did miss a couple of things (although we were aware about some from the description). This lovely place just needs a bit more around facilities. It felt more like rooms with a pool. Kitchenette needed towels and more cutlery. More shade is needed along the room balconies when the sun is unbearable (made coffee time, breakfast and snacks unpleasant) and possibly a small snack bar to buy water or a sandwich etc. Hotel label gives you the impression that such a facility would be on the grounds. Without these facilities, value for money is a negative.

Beautiful pool area! Lovely, spacious rooms done with quality furnishings and a simple and peaceful decor. Comfortable bedding, absolutely immaculate rooms and spaces. Near the town center with convenient markets to shop some food items for room.

We had the pleasure of staying at Alex Mare Suites for four days, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. The cleanliness of the suites is truly impeccable – every corner was spotless, and the attention to detail in maintaining a fresh and welcoming atmosphere was evident throughout our stay. It’s clear that the staff take great pride in keeping the place pristine. Speaking of staff, the hospitality and friendliness we encountered were exceptional. The host was warm, helpful, and genuinely committed to making our stay as comfortable as possible. It felt less like a hotel and more like being welcomed into a home. In terms of convenience, the location is excellent – just a short walk from the beach, shops, and local restaurants, yet peacefully tucked away enough to offer true relaxation. The suites themselves are spacious, thoughtfully furnished, and equipped with everything one might need for a carefree holiday. We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already dreaming of coming back (we definitely will). Alex Mare Suites is a hidden gem in Skala Fourkas – highly recommended to anyone seeking a serene and stylish escape in beautiful Halkidiki. We also recommend visiting Possidi during the day - the beach is amazing (especially if you enjoy staying at the beach bars - they are worth giving a shot). During the evening you can’t miss going to Kalithea - it’s just a short drive away and you can spend some great time walking around, the city is full of young people and the food is 10/10.

Second time here visited in 2023 , just as good as the first time , complex is well maintained and very clean , the family who own the complex work here daily and it shows in the high standards of the place .Plenty of parking , they accept pets which is a good bonus for dog owners .Rooms are a good size , nicely furnished , well equipped and great A/C , they was cleaned daily with fresh towels and bedding , housekeeping staff very pleasant .Pool area has comfortable quality sun loungers and parasols . Nice pool that was never to busy in our June visit .You can walk to the centre in 5 minutes and the beach . Plenty of restaurants and bars , the resort Skala Fourka is a more relaxed town rather than party place . Will definitely return .

The rooms are brand new, super clean, and styled in a modern way. They give you a really nice and comfy place to stay. But the best part is definitely the pool right outside your room. It's super clean, well taken care of, and the perfect spot to relax and cool down, especially on hot days. Being able to just walk out of your room and jump right in is a huge bonus. The pool makes you feel very peaceful.

The hotel is walking distance from the beach and there is a supermarket and a bakery nearby. The rooms were big enough with everything needed. We traveled with our baby and dog - everyone felt comfortable. Alex was very nice and helpful. The cleaning staff were also amazing. We enjoyed absolutely everything and can’t wait to come back.

We had a great time, rooms are exactly as on photos, owner is an amazing host, very kind. The place is very clean, rooms are cleaned daily, sheets changed, pool is cleaned every night, thus why owner has a strict working hours for the pool. Place has it's own parking place, it's very near to the beach and to all kind of supermarkets, bakery, pharmacy. Everything was very nice. Definitely recommending 😊

The town itself is really more for the economy tourist. ALEX MARE apartment hotel is a modern place that could easily be in a more of an upmarket place. There is a new road leading to the hotel (maybe 80 metres) and it is not yet asphalted, but it is an easy drive. Again, nothing to do with ALEX MARE, just stating the fact.

We had to quickly find a place to sleep and rest since we waited for a very long time to cross the border. We found ALEX MARE on Booking.com. It is really nice if you are looking for accomodation near the sea in a typical Greek small town/village. Alexandros, the host was great, his place is new, super tidy and clean, close to everything. Free parking. Easy walk 5 min to the beach and village square.

Room walls seems to be very thin and you hear your neighbors, pool is usually full (undersized for hotel size), staff of the hotel not very communicative, and the biggest minus is the you don’t have a place were to drink an wine in the evening with friends (no tables and chairs, no special place, nothing…plus that the sunbeds are wet (wash them every evening) and cannot use them in the night.

Big room, cleaned every day, fairly comfy. Very close to all needed facilities (restaurants, market, beach).

Everything was perfect and Alex who welcomed us makes sure that nothing changes during our stay. I think it’s the first place that look the same in pictures and in reality. The room was big enough and very clean. There’s someone who comes to clean the room every day. Poll was also very clean and the sunbeds as well. Sunbeds ar literally like a bed, pretty confortabile. The beach and restaurants are at just 5 minute walk from this place. Definitely we will come back

Maybe one suggestion for the kitchen, they don't have some mini hot plate so you can prepare something. They only have one kettle and mini coffee machine.

The property is new and excellent. I have traveled with my family and also I worked "from home", while my family was chilling out on the beach and on the pool (which is also excellent!). The internet on the property was excellent as well, and I was able to even perform video meetings without problems! All recommendations!
