Location and views are spectacular. Dimitris and his family are so friendly and kind. Swimming pool is gorgeous.

Beautiful, family-run business with attention to detail, right above Georgioupoli in the hills but still close enough to the beach and the little town (5min drive). The view is amazing from the balcony over the mountains and a bit of the sea. The pool is the best place to relax, kept clean and tidy. The owners are really kind and humble Cretan people who give you the best tips for sightseeings around. The apartment is spacious and has all you need.I loved the frappe Dimitri was making for me every day. Everything is well taken care of. Would definitely return.

Just a few things to mention but overall, they do not take away from your positive experience here: The windows do not filter the noise from your neighbors, you hear them all the time since the balconies are seperated only with a metal frame (take earplugs if you are sensitive like me or talk to your neighbors:)) The a/c is not strong enough to cool down the whole apartment. The bathroom is quite small and the shower doesnt have a curtain and the water flows everywhere but this is quite common in Greece.

Beautiful location, spacious pool. Room was clean and had everything we needed. Owner was very friendly and offered his assistance at all times.

The staff were excellent, Dnitris is a briant host and can not do enough to help you find your best holiday. With help and advice at all times, he knows the best beaches and locations. The Alkion is situated at the side of a hill that looks over the white mountains. Waking every day to the stunning view was 2nd to none. The rooms were really big and kept clean by the friendly staff. Great breakfast for 7 euro, you get spoiled and full to the brim. We had the pool to our selves for the 1st full day we spent at Alkion.

This place is so beautiful it is unbelievable

Dimitri and family were great hosts. Alkion is situated in a wonderful hillside location. I really can't recommend Alkion highly enough, it is simply fabulous. You can find a choice of traditional eateries in nearby villages, a short 10 minute drive from the hotel. The swimming pool is child friendly

Alkion family run apartments was a true find. Fantastic place, very clean & tidy, great facilities incl. a swimming pool, amazing view over the mountains and the sea. Dimitris is a fantastic host. Could not fault it. We stayed in room no.13. If I ever come to Crete again I will definitely stay here.

Beautiful setting, clean pool area and lush gardens. Smooth check-in from late arrival flight and good communication. Seeing eagles in the valley from the balcony!

I genuinely have no dislikes. Some may say it is far out of town but even without hire car it was a pleasant 35 min walk to town and beach then easily access to taxis for 7 euro to return in the dark.

The property is beautiful and has a nice view. The owners are lovely, very helpful and made our stay even better. It’s worth of money and I would definitely be back if I am in the area.

This property was a hidden gem! Neither of us had stayed in the area before but we loved it. The mountain and sea views were superb and the staff made you feel at home.

Wonderful people ready to greet you and help you out.

Amazing location, views and hospitality! We really want to come back again because of how friendly the family was :)

Wifi didn't reach the upper floors
