Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GreeceThe hidden gem of Mani peninsula! I have been travelling to Peloponnese and Mani peninsula for years and this was one the best experiences I ever had. The tranquility of the location away of the loud crowds and the seaview of the bay and Limeni was just what I needed for my relaxing stay. You can hear the sea waves from your room and listen to the birds singing as the play in the gardens and the enormous cliff behind the rooms. The hotel is very nicely built and the room was luxurious, spacious, very clean and decorated with taste. The highlight was the homemade breakfast in the main terrace right next to the sea with delicious local recipes and fresh products! The staff was extremely polite and helpful. They even gave me a beach towel for my swim and a bottle of wine as a gift. I highly recommend this hotel in case you are planning visiting Mani. Great price for the amenities and the quality of the structure that you experience! I can't wait to come back next year and stay for a whole week!

IsraelWe stayed in Alkyon SeaSide studios for four nights. Family of 5 with two rooms. Rooms are new, big and comfortable. There is a small beach 50 meters from the hotel. Air conditioning was good enough during July hot temperatures. Very good home made breakfast. Great service. Location is good although it is a little on the side of the bay.

GreeceAmple spaced room with an attic for the 2 11year old children and great views. Friendly owner (with helpful tips) and staff that offered different options (omelets, pies etc) for breakfast each day.

AustraliaNothing not to like but if I have to write something I wish we had stayed longer!
What is there not to like about Alkyon Seaside Studios! Location is perfect, if you want to be away from all the hustle and bustle this is the place to be. So peaceful and quiet, all you hear is the waves and the birds chirping. The host is absolutely amazing who does everything she can to make your stay as pleasurable as possible. The breakfast that is served every morning is amazing. Delicious home made traditional food which is different every morning. The apartment is very clean, comfortable and has the most amazing view which we enjoyed every evening while playing backgammon and enjoying our wine! I cannot say enough of this place, can’t wait to come back next year and definitely recommend staying. Ευχαριστουμε Κυρια Αρετή για την υπέροχη φιλοξενεία σας!

CanadaSeverely overpriced. For 150 euro a night you expect a toilet seat that fits the toilet bowl and toilet paper that doesn't feel like sandpaper. Our room had 2 small windows overlooking the sea and a veranda at the back looking into a big rock cliff It is wrongly categorized as beachfront. There is no beach right outside and the closest little bay that one could attempt to swim off is full of big rocks and frankly a bit dangerous to attempt to swim loff let alone place an umbrella (impossible), a sunbed (also impossible) or a towel (try lying on those rocks).
Friendly family run business
