The hotel is located within a small, well-maintained complex, and the housekeeping service is excellent. The pool and shared bathrooms near the pool are spotless, and the garden is very well-kept and relaxing (and our dog, "Nutella," thanks you for all the late-day runs she took!!) The staff is very kind and helpful. George, Anna, and Peggy are wonderful, very kind, and very helpful, always ready to provide helpful directions and suggestions. Their dog, Bobbie, is incredibly sweet. The restaurant serves excellent food, including gluten-free options. The property is a 5-minute walk from the quiet Troulos beach and a very useful market. The bus stop is very convenient, just a few minutes from the hotel, and the service is very efficient (please note that dog owners must use a carrier). We highly recommend it! We, and Nutella, thank you for a wonderful stay!

- The pool towels supplied were quick drying travel towels; the hotel would benefit from providing proper towels. - It felt very crowded at times; the pool didn’t feel big enough for the amount of guests, whilst there was a distinct lack of loungers around the pool to the point where guests were saving them first thing. It was therefore difficult to find space (other than the bar chairs or grassed areas).

- Very friendly and welcoming owners; they recommended secluded beaches and even once lent us 10€ as we didn’t have any cash for the bus to the old town. - On site restaurant was good for both breakfast and dinner. - Room was clean and spacious; balcony overlooked the pool area which was nice.

Lovely family run hotel. The staff were amazing and were always on hand to help you with anything. Would go back like many others already have. Nice airy, light clean rooms. There's a nice restaurant in the hotel that's open to non-residents at night and is very popular. Good location, 5 mins walk to the beach and close to the bus stop

From the moment we arrived, we were not disappointed. Everything imaginable was available, from airport transfers to an in room electric mosquito zapper. The room was spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. There was free WiFi, a safe deposit box, and air conditioning. It was a perfect location, with beautiful tendered gardens and surrounds. Perfect location to the beach, bus stop, and tavernas, although the on-site restaurant is also good. Anna and George and all the staff were warm, welcoming, and could not do enough to make our stay perfect. Highly recommend.

The Almira is a superb hotel, spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained grounds, with lovely owners and fantastic staff. Our two bedroom apartment was perfect for our family of four. The hotel is very close to the lovely sandy beach and there are plenty of restaurants within a short walk. It is also close to a bus stop which is very handy. The only improvements I can think of would be some extra play equipment for the kids in the garden (the swings were great though and got a lot of use on the days when the weather was cloudy) and maybe a children's menu in the restaurant.

I wasn't aware there was an extra charge for aircon upon arrival but luckily it wasn't too hot so this wasn't required.

From the moment I arrived, everything about Almira was simply amazing. The staff welcomed me with genuine hospitality. Every detail from the beautifully decorated room to the impeccably maintained grounds — showed how much care and pride they take in their guest experience. The location was perfect (5 mins to the beach and directly at the bus stop to go into town and the other beaches.) Waking up to enjoy breakfast and lunch at the restaurant was so easy and delicious. The service was exceptional the whole time friendly, attentive, and always going the extra mile and offering help the whole time. Also appreciated the staff's local recommendations, which helped me discover some incredible hidden gems like sunset spots, restaurants and the best beaches to visit. Will be back!

Absolutely beautiful hotel and wonderful staff I came with my 4year old granddaughter and we were treated like royalty. The gardens are fabulous too. On site restaurant serves seasonal fresh food all day. Location is perfect bus outside goes to Skiathos town and other locations. Such attention to detail. Local beaches

Hotel Almira is an oasis of well-being, with a garden and restaurant. Nice rooms with very comfortable mattresses and pillows. A small supermarket and the number 20 bus stop 2 minutes' walk from the hotel, the beach 3 minutes. Very friendly and helpful hosts.

There was nothing to dislike.

We stayed at the Almira Hotel for 10 nights in August. Anna and George were the perfect hosts, nothing was too much trouble. They were always on hand to answer any questions or make bookings for us. The bar staff were all great, very friendly and chatty! The whole place was spotless - room was amazing with a beautiful bathroom, the maid came every day to make the bed up. Towels were changed regularly. The pool and bar area were spotlessly clean. The Oregano restaurant was amazing, beautiful food and lovely staff. We definitely would not hesitate to stay here again.

A larger shower area would have made it perfect , but I am struggling to think of anything .

A great location only 5 minutes walk from a beautiful beach - Troulos bay . Lovely pool area , and green garden area , stylishly furnished bar and restaurant . We had a spacious bedroom and large balcony area with a great view over the pool, a small kitchenette area , and a nicely tiled , small shower room . The staff here are warm and friendly and very helpful. The restaurant , Oregano , is very good - one of the nicest on the island , and the food is delicious and reasonably priced .

I liked how relaxed the staff was at all times, creating a positive atmosphere for the guest. I also loved the live music on Monday, with the exceptionally talented musician Kostas Kav. It would be fantastic to have live music on other nights as well!

Fantastic service from all the staff, who are friendly, personable and genuinely wanting to help you. Fantastic breakfasts, snacks and dinners at the restaurant. The location is unbeatable, with the beach a very short walk away, a supermarket between the hotel and beach, plus really good facilities at the hotel. Plenty of both sun drenched and shaded areas to lounge. The beds are very comfortable, Wi-Fi was good, and the daily cleaning kept everything spotless. Couldn't recommend the place enough, it really is a wonderful place to get away from it all.

The only minuscule thing we would change was the beds could have been a bit more comfortable, but we are getting on 😂 I’m certain if we had of mentioned it, Anna and George would have sorted it for us. As I say… minuscule.
