Good location, easy to find with private beach and pool. Accommodation has everything needed for self catering with good local shops.

We really liked the private, clean, quiet and mostly sandy mini-beach that is just next to the property (just next the the long common beach). No need for special shoes or anything, really great! We had two apartments and from bot of them a nice view of the sea. The terrace is shaded in the morning, it is really nice for a breakfast! Also everything is really near - shop, restaurant, bus stop, car rental etc. The pool is really convenient with kids, and absolutely clean!

Mosquitoes- can’t be totally avoided but if recommend installing screens so guests can enjoy the balcony and open windows in the evenings. Another thing- would be helpful to have more countertops in the kitchenette as the space is tiny for meal prep.

Great location, a short walk to the beach, to the supermarket and to a few restaurants. Plus a nice pool.

Super welcome from Andreas, who was communicative and quickly available for anything we needed. Lovely garden, great pool area. Close to the bus stop for easy access to central Rethymno.

Great location, beautiful view, clean and nice apartment. Very friendly host. Around the apartment is beatufil garden and swimming pool. Beach is in front of the apartment. There is long coast. Near the apartment is a bus station, shop and great taverna.

The furniture / fixtures in the apartment could do with upgrading but no problem for length of stay. Would also recommend including air con in price of booking for ease.

Andreas was a very helpful and very friendly host. The pool area was very clean and well maintained with good furniture. The apartment roof terrace was a great area for eating, drinking, sunbathing- and the rooms were a good size. Short walk to restaurants, supermarket, beach and bus stop Would definitely recommend Almyra for a great chilled holiday!

All was okay!

The host was very outgoing, helpful, very easy to agree on everything. The apartment was clean, spacious and with all the amenities that needed. The complex included the pool and nearby entrance to the beach which is awesome.

- the only thing is that it’s by a bit of a busy road so you hear quite a lot of traffic , but everything else was so nice it bothered me a lot less than it normally would have

+ I loved the apartment we got - we had our own rooftop with an amazing view on the sea and sunset 😍 + I loved the pool , very nice with stairs walking in and a good size. Also the whole area they really made nice with plenty of lounge chairs in the shade, a hammock and a cute swing sofa. + owner was very friendly + right behind the ocean 🌊! + perfectly located 10 min from Rethimno and close to visit nice beaches and lake kournas (tip!)

The apartments are near the see. Everything you need is provided. There are sun umbrellas and sunbeds for the beach. The pool is cleaned every night. Near Almyra there is a bakery, shops and taverns, as well as a bus stop. Andreas is very friendly and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay at Almyra Apartments! The pool area is fantastic, clean, the garden is beautiful. We had a sea view apartment with a large balcony. I really liked the peace and quiet, sometimes we were the only ones at the pool all day. There is also a small part of the beach with free sunbeds. The owner Andreas is a very nice person. We arrived late at night, but he was waiting for us. Thank you very much for everything Andreas.

We had a wonderful stay at Almyra Apartments. From the initial booking Andreas was welcoming, informative and helpful and this continued throughout our stay. He was there to greet us on arrival (even though our flight was late) and always on hand to answer any questions and check we were comfortable but not intrusive. The apartment was perfect for our needs, it was comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The pool area is fantastic, clean, well maintained and a lovely little sanctuary providing plenty of sunbeds and seating and a much-needed shady areas too. The apartment is 2 minutes walk from the beach, supermarket, bakery, coffee shop and lots of traditional Tavernas. You can also get the bus into Rethymon (about 30 min journey but well worth it for shopping, culture, sightseeing and more restaurants and bars). Andreas organised all our transfers to and from the apartment and also a tour to Balos beach which was fantastic. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Almyra and would love to return again in the future.

Good, quiet location near several local beaches and ten minutes from the bustling seaside town of Rethymnon. The apartment had full cooking facilities so ideal for self-catering although we didn't use them personally.

There is not a lot going on in the village itself - apart from a few nice restaurants - so if you want the atmosphere of all the touristy things this is not really it. But, for relaxation, quiet, lazing by the pool - this is very nice. The apartment is basic, but so is the price. And it has everything needed.

The apartment was spacious for our family of five. We enjoyed the lovely swimmingpool area - a large pool, super clean, plenty of sunbeds in the shade as well as in the sun. We enjoyed our large private roof terrace with amazing sea views and amazing sunset views every evening. The a/c in each bedroom was very efficient. Andreas, our host, was super helpful, fast to answer all questions, everything went super smooth. Andreas was always accessible either in person or via chat. He recommended bakery and restaurants in close vicinity to the apartments - and he was very right in his recommendations. He also helped us organise a rental car, and for us to be able to drop it off at the ferry port in Rethymnon, as we were travelling on. It is a very quiet, slow, relaxing village, with just a few supermarkets and restaurants. The beach is sandy and rocky, the water is busy. On the beach, there is a beach bar with free sunbeds right next to the stairs from the property.

It was such a nice place and Andreas who owned it was super nice and really made our stay extraordinary. He made sure to help us with everything we needed and also asked us every day how we were and if we needed anything. The apartment was sooooooo affordable and priceworthy! You got more than you paid for. When going back to Crete we will make sure to come back to Almyra Apartments & Suites! Thank you Andreas 🌸

The location is great if you want to get away from the city. We had a private swimming pool, beach, and rooftop, everything was just amazing. However, if you want to experience city nightlife it's a bit inconvenient as Sfakaki is about 1 hour away from both Chania and Heraklion. Overall, we loved it. The host was accommodating, the cleaning lady would come over every few days to clean the house and change the towels. The tavern the host recommended was amazing so go check it out.

Mosquitoes decided to invade, sorted problem out by putting the air conditioner on, extra cost but worth it.

Andrea's is a great host, we were in a self catering apartment, clean adequate facilities to do our own cooking on two electric hob, small patio to sit out and enjoy a glass of local wine, what more do you need. Despite cooler weather we used the swimming pool, great to exercise in. Almyra Apartments are very good value, friendly staff, clean, and easy to get to most visitor attractions either by car or local bus. There are local tavernas exceptional food, local bakery great cakes, thank yo we had a wonderful time. We shall return sometime.

The toilet is not good: the shower has no hang, and it's not possible to throw the toilet paper in the water. This is not written in the apartment description. The bedroom has a double bed with two single sheets and two children's pillows. In Crete you can get a better accomodation for the same price.

Very basic. Bathroom and kitchen needs some deep cleaning. Also, kitchen needs some more utensils, glasses etc. Air conditioning was only available in the bedrooms, only with doors closed so the kitchen and sitting area were very hot. Pool was nice but closed by 7:30 pm. Beach is very close, but has tons of sea weeds.

Very nice building complex, well maintained. We arrived with extra person and the owner let her stay, as long as we manage. Appreciate that. Roof terrace was nice.
