Unfortunately we did not like the hotel. The balcony was nice and had a nice view.

Unfortunately, our stay didn’t quite meet expectations. The room was quite outdated and in need of renovation. The beds were uncomfortable, and when we asked for extra pillows, we were told there were none available. The toilet and shower area was also very cramped. The pool did not feel well maintained, there was a green residue around the upper edges of the pool wall, making it look uninviting and not particularly clean. Additionally, the owner asked us not to enter the pool if we had sunscreen on, which felt like an odd request for a summer holiday destination. The beach in front of the hotel was also disappointing and not suitable for swimming or relaxing. Overall, the facilities felt tired. With some investment in maintenance, hospitality, and basic guest comfort (like providing extra pillows), the place could improve significantly. It would also be helpful if the hotel shared some real, up-to-date photos of the beach directly in front of the property so that future guests know what to realistically expect.

The toilet is not good: the shower has no hang, and it's not possible to throw the toilet paper in the water. This is not written in the apartment description. The bedroom has a double bed with two single sheets and two children's pillows. In Crete you can get a better accomodation for the same price.

Everything was not just ok, all was perfect! We will definitely come back here next year!

Good location, easy to find with private beach and pool. Accommodation has everything needed for self catering with good local shops.

We really liked the private, clean, quiet and mostly sandy mini-beach that is just next to the property (just next the the long common beach). No need for special shoes or anything, really great! We had two apartments and from bot of them a nice view of the sea. The terrace is shaded in the morning, it is really nice for a breakfast! Also everything is really near - shop, restaurant, bus stop, car rental etc. The pool is really convenient with kids, and absolutely clean!

Great location, a short walk to the beach, to the supermarket and to a few restaurants. Plus a nice pool.

Mosquitoes- can’t be totally avoided but if recommend installing screens so guests can enjoy the balcony and open windows in the evenings. Another thing- would be helpful to have more countertops in the kitchenette as the space is tiny for meal prep.

Everything was perfect! Great hospitality, perfect location just few steps to the tiny beach,amazing panorama from the terrace ...highly recommended!!

Super welcome from Andreas, who was communicative and quickly available for anything we needed. Lovely garden, great pool area. Close to the bus stop for easy access to central Rethymno.

Everything was great! We had a pool and the beach was close and beautiful .All recommendations for the apartment which was clean and tidy. We had two terraces, one had a view of the garden and the other of the sea. ☺️☺️

Great location, beautiful view, clean and nice apartment. Very friendly host. Around the apartment is beatufil garden and swimming pool. Beach is in front of the apartment. There is long coast. Near the apartment is a bus station, shop and great taverna.

Andreas was a very helpful and very friendly host. The pool area was very clean and well maintained with good furniture. The apartment roof terrace was a great area for eating, drinking, sunbathing- and the rooms were a good size. Short walk to restaurants, supermarket, beach and bus stop Would definitely recommend Almyra for a great chilled holiday!

The furniture / fixtures in the apartment could do with upgrading but no problem for length of stay. Would also recommend including air con in price of booking for ease.

Almyra apartments are located in an ideal location for visiting the most beautiful beaches on the island. They are very nice, quiet, they clean and change the bedding every 2-3 days. Excellent price-quality ratio. For every recommendation

+ I loved the apartment we got - we had our own rooftop with an amazing view on the sea and sunset 😍 + I loved the pool , very nice with stairs walking in and a good size. Also the whole area they really made nice with plenty of lounge chairs in the shade, a hammock and a cute swing sofa. + owner was very friendly + right behind the ocean 🌊! + perfectly located 10 min from Rethimno and close to visit nice beaches and lake kournas (tip!)

- the only thing is that it’s by a bit of a busy road so you hear quite a lot of traffic , but everything else was so nice it bothered me a lot less than it normally would have

Mosquitoes, but this was not Almyra's fault, I believe all the similar accommodations in the area will have the same issue. Bathroom was okay, but can be improved.

Very nice building complex, well maintained. We arrived with extra person and the owner let her stay, as long as we manage. Appreciate that. Roof terrace was nice.

Very basic. Bathroom and kitchen needs some deep cleaning. Also, kitchen needs some more utensils, glasses etc. Air conditioning was only available in the bedrooms, only with doors closed so the kitchen and sitting area were very hot. Pool was nice but closed by 7:30 pm. Beach is very close, but has tons of sea weeds.

The roof top terrace was a nice bonus.

Only the bedrooms had air condition. The kitchen area was sweltering.

The apartments are near the see. Everything you need is provided. There are sun umbrellas and sunbeds for the beach. The pool is cleaned every night. Near Almyra there is a bakery, shops and taverns, as well as a bus stop. Andreas is very friendly and helpful.
