Super comfortable beds. Very very clean. Attentive staff. Our room was cleaned and sheets/towels changed every day. Good breakfast. Very good price/quality balance.

Location isn't very spectacular. You need to go about 900m to enter more beautiful (tuoristish) parts of the city.

Easy to get to the port if you are stopping in Athens en route to the islands.

I was bitten by bedbugs and then got no response from the hotel after trying to alert them.

After hours of comparing hotels, I’m so glad we went with Alva. The location turned out to be very practical—close to metro stations and within walking distance from major attractions.

The mattress was so comfortable I asked the staff what brand it was! Slept like a rock every night. Add to that the blackout curtains and quiet hallways—perfection.

Even though we arrived late, the check-in process was quick and pleasant. The room exceeded our expectations in cleanliness and comfort. Slept great and woke up refreshed every day.

Our room had big windows and beautiful natural light during the day. It felt open and relaxing. The design really made a small space feel much bigger.

The room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was really good and the team was friendly and helpful. We could easily walk from the hotel to all the key places in Athens that we wanted to visit.

The bathroom was small for the size of the bedroom, you had to close the bathroom door to get to the basin and vanity unit. And the shower was great but was open on one side so we had to try to shower in one corner so as not to get the rest of the bathroom wet, a bit of a challenge for my tall husband! Otherwise, nothing to do with the property itself, but the area it is located in is sketchy and although we didn’t have any problems, it wasn’t pleasant walking in the area and there were no restaurants nearby, so you had to walk further afield at night.

I was looking for a clean and quiet place to unwind after long days of exploring, and Alva delivered on all fronts. The bed was super comfy, the shower had excellent pressure, and the room felt soundproof.

Me and my partner stayed for 1 night and loved the calm and elegant setting. The hotel was romantic without trying too hard—just well-done simplicity.

I appreciated that nothing was overdone. Just a clean, quiet, and well-designed room with a great mattress and a nice shower. That’s really all I needed, and Alva delivered it perfectly.
