It was an amazing stay in Ammothines and the owners Sotia and her husband were super nice and friendly. They welcomed us with dessert and gave advice on the area. The room was clean and well decorated and it has everything you need. If you plan to have your breakfast in the room (or cook dinner) the kitchen supplies are very sufficient and new. We stayed in the loft and enjoyed the good space, definitely want to visit again. Hotel is so close to the beach by walking and the sea is very clear in that area. We thank Sotia and her husband once again for their hospitality.

Sotia and Antonis have created an exceptionally cosy and homely place that we look forward to visiting again. The apartments are well designed down to the smallest detail, the hotel is close to the beautiful beach, and the town is quiet with some very nice bars and restaurants. We had a lovely stay, the owners were so friendly and went above and beyond to ensure that we had a great time, offering help with restaurant recommendations and bookings, places to visit and how to get there, and even a phone call offering to pick us up when we got caught in the rain when we took a hike to Panagia. The rooms are modern, comfortable, kept exceptionally clean and very peaceful. There is air conditioning , and also mosquito nets on the windows and sliding net door on the balcony, which is also a bonus! You can walk to the beach within 2 minutes, and to many local restaurants and a supermarket in a few more. We would return in a heartbeat!

Depending on the room, it could be closer to the road where loud motorcycles would drive occasionally, but this isn't that big of an issue as well as you might not encounter it.

We'd choose this place randomly just last day before leaving the island. I wish we stayed here all the time during our holiday. The hospitality is amazing and friendly. You feel exactly like their guest. Rooms are very large, airy and spotless clean. I'm big fan of their shampoo and body lotion since then, which is a local brand of the island. Beach is 100 mt away and amazing restaurants around. Avv, I've already missed it ❣️

The hotel is located near a protected area. Its name, Ammothines, means "sand dunes". There are some dunes on the beach. The place is very quiet and beautiful. The building is full of good taste. The host, Sophia, is a cultured and friendly person.

Great location - 4-5 mins walk to Golden beach and at the same time situated on a quiet street. Private parking in front of the building. 10 mins away from the closest restaurants and 15-20 mins to the other part of the beach and village where majority of restaurants are located. There is a supermarket 5-10 mins away. Brand new, very clean (rooms are cleaned every day), great interior of the room. The kitchenette is also convenient with all necessary basic utensils and kitchenware. Great hosts who helped with recommendations about restaurants and places to visit.

It's still like a dream! Excellent hotel owner and staff, you can see always smiling faces! Extremely clean, well-decorated rooms. Everything was designed with purpose and new equipments. The room definitely exceeded our expectations. Very comfy bed, clean room+bathroom, and good-sized balcony for a hotel room. They offered a welcome dessert and drink and a goodbye gift. It felt like we were part of the family! Strongly recommended!

Everything. All is very nice, looks amazing and feels the same. Sotia and her husband are wonderful people, always available for any questions that you may have, with great recommendation. The location is placed near multiple beaches, both with sunbads or for your own accomodation. Same for tavernas or supermarket, you have severals close. Amazing new location close to the sea, everything new in terms of furniture, facilities, etc. Sotiria, the owner, is very friendly and helpful. Cleaning is done every day which is a big plus. Sotiria has a lot of good recommendations for restaurants and beaches in the area. We took her advice and we were totally satisfied. We will definitely include the Ammothines in our short list of accommodations at Golden Beach in Thassos.

It was a very nice stay. We chose this place when there were almost no comments, so I wanted to write at long one. First of all, the room is very comfortable. Everything is just as it should be. Bed and pillows are very clean and comfortable. The cabinets are also sufficient, I really liked the idea of open hangers. It is more practical than constantly opening and closing the cabinet door during the holidays, and it has made the room more spacious. It was not essential, the weather was nice, but we also tried the air conditioner, it works very well. I really liked the kitchen. We brought some plates, glasses, kettles, etc. with us, but the ones in the room are ready for use and sufficient. The room also has a large balcony. It was pleasant to have breakfast in the morning and relax at night. The bathroom was also nice. I love the pendant lamp, now I want one for my house. =) It is quite airy with a large window. The flow and temperature of the water are not a problem at all, it was very easy to rinse my curly hair. Last but not least, our host, Sothia (I hope I spelled it right) was a wonderful person. She was always caring. She showed interest in us not only for the hotel, but also for us to have a good time on the island. We loved the restaurants she recommended. She tried to help us with whatever we needed. She made everything easy by communicating with us before we even arrived at the hotel. The farewell gift made both my husband and me very happy. I had a holiday like at home, we had a very happy time. We would love to return at the first opportunity ans wish good luck to this brand new hotel.
