How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewClean, spacious, we only had one night here but it was perfect. We had a pool of our own, small but perfect for a quick dip. The view was outstanding and even though there were neighbouring villas in close proximity we didn’t feel disturbed by their noise. I was surprised at how good the service was considering our stay was only for one night - Thanos was really helpful, messaging me in advance to ask if we needed a taxi (he works with a driver called Nicholas who was also really good). Thanos then gave us his number so we we could WhatsApp him at all times if we needed any help with restaurant bookings and even facilitated a taxi for our return even though he had no financial gain from this. He was really impressive.

Verified reviewlovely premises, pool area was great. kitchenette with big fridge laundry area had some storage shelves and hanging space however the hanging space was not sufficient for anything longer than a tshirt.
the bathroom is a terrible design, the shower is an odd shape and open, when the shower head is on water pours into the bathroom area - towels and other items get saturated. There was also an odd smell from the bathroom after day two I would say due to the water ingress. no sufficient lighting in the bathroom, also could do with hooks to hang up towels. self contained kitchenette however no sink plugs. main bedroom had no room for storage of clothes and no hanging space or shelves. some storage in the laundry area

Verified reviewThe view from the pool is stunning. The cleaners came daily and were really good.
The kitchen was tiny and there was no dust pan and brush. Check out was 11 and our flight was not until 20:40. No option for a late check out or a shower facility. This was disappointing. We were out here for a family wedding and had to go and use the shower that family had been given at their hotel. The neighbours were noisy and came in very late at night.

The place is extremely pleasant and well-maintained – everything was spotlessly clean and thoughtfully arranged. The owners and staff truly deserve special praise for their kindness, helpfulness, and warm attitude toward guests. We felt genuinely welcomed and well taken care of. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and peaceful stay in Mykonos. We will definitely return!

Verified reviewThis villa was amazing! The location is perfect and only a few steps away from a bus stop which takes you into old town. There are restaurants near the beach which is very close too. The villas pool was great, and it had beautiful views towards the sea.

Verified reviewSuch a great stay! Excellent location about a 5 min walk from Ornos Beach! Great for getting from the airport or going in to Mykonos town but Ornos has everything you need! Stunning views across the bay at Ornos beach, beautiful pool and really great accommodation! Thanks the manager looked after us so well making sure we had everything we need including transport! It felt like Nikolas (the taxi driver) was almost a personal chauffeur who looked after us all weekend! He even picked me up as he was passing on the way back from the shops one afternoon Genuinely could not recommend it for small groups more, we stayed in the private 2 bed apartment with its own pool and its was perfect for 5 of us.
