Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GreeceI’ve never encountered anything similar to this anywhere, this was by far the worst hotel stay I’ve ever experienced. It’s an abandoned hotel and the rooms are full of rust and mold, incredibly dirty, the bathroom is horrible, the furniture is from the 1970s and the TV,telephone and WiFi not working. We paid 170 euros per night for a hotel room that was worth 50 euros. When we booked the hotel’s rating was 8+ and within a span of 2 months it dropped to 5.1. The manager was rude, had an attitude and was trying to gaslight us to avoid a refund. And the cherry on top was that housekeeping left their set of keys on the door of our room with the room wide open and all our personal items-including work laptops, IPads, cash and passports inside! Stay away from this hotel!
Absolutely nothing.

AustraliaAfter reviewing the property online, it stated a 7–12 minute walk, which may be accurate without luggage. I thought I’d walk it, a huge mistake. Maps kept rerouting, and not knowing the area made it extremely frustrating in the heat with heavy luggage on uneven footpaths. What should have been a short walk turned into a challenging 45 minutes. On top of that, once I finally reached the hotel, there was still a fair distance of crushed road base to get to the entrance, not designed for wheeled suitcases. This is no reflection on the hotel itself, but something travellers with luggage should know in advance. A taxi ride is cheap, quick, and saves a lot of hassle. The advertised ‘7–12 minutes’ can be realistic if you’re travelling light, but it’s far from ideal with bags in tow
Upon arrival at the hotel, the staff were incredibly kind and attentive. They immediately assisted with my heavy luggage and personally escorted me to my room. Their knowledge, helpfulness, fluent English, and genuine kindness stood out — truly exceptional customer service from start to finish. The hotel is also perfectly located, just a 3-minute walk from the centre, surrounded by restaurants, cafes, and shops, making everything easily accessible and convenient.

United States1.) "Sea View"- you had to go onto the corner of the balcony next to the clothes line to get a 2 foot view of sea We complained but were told it's their best room which was being saved for us and were shown a different room with a sea view that was up several flights of stairs which would be a difficult task for a young person. 2.) the room was outdated with curtains off the curtain hooks, rusty faucets and shower in bathroom and the plastic toilet seat glued on with silicone 3.) breakfast room was extremely hot even though there was an AC unit which was not turned on so you could not enjoy breakfast in the overheated room 4.) WiFi was non existent in room and only close to the pool. TV signal was very poor and screen was choppy as was sound 5.) staff was very nice and AC unit was working 6.) hotel room was overpriced as we paid 288 euros for two nights

GreeceEndless stairs to get to room. Final flight in total darkness the first 2 nights. Paid extra for "seaview" room, got one small corner of sea. (See photos from inside the room and from the balcony.) Breakfast terrible, stale and only filter coffee. Fridge barely keeping things cool. A/C not adequate for room. Wifi zero. Tried to charge me €5 per night "city tax". I complained that Booking didn't say so. Then was told "mistake" and refunded. (Actual charge in Greece for 2 * hotels is €0.5 per night.) The manager was condescending and patronizing when I complained. (Greeted me with "Who are you?") She said that 2* hotels don't have to offer any other kind but filter coffee, that they bought the hotel 2 months ago and were fixing it (while charging premium rates though). That they "didn't want to put wifi extenders in the rooms". (???) There was a phone in the room - supposedly to call reception. It was dead. Many of the fixtures seemed hanging by a thread.
The location is good and the beds are comfortable.

United KingdomUnfortunately, we were very disappointed with the accommodation. The group of buildings incl rooms, reception, breakfast area are very old and haven’t been renovated or refreshed. Especially the bathrooms need a lot of work since they had rust, mold and insects. On top of that they didn’t clean the room properly and we found used soap in the bath area. The door in the bathroom didn’t close and we weren’t provided any WiFi. When we asked for the used soap to be removed and clean the bathroom again they just removed the soap and noticed that the mopper they used was dirty. It seems that they actually use the same mopper without clean water for all areas and rooms. The breakfast was poor and not fresh. They had some eggs, bread, honey, marmalade, some pastries and yoghurt but they were not fresh eg the yoghurt wasn’t from the fridge and it was exposed to an open area during the breakfast. Most of the residents had a quick breakfast in the hotel and then they went to get a proper one in the city center. I wouldn’t recommend since there might cheaper options for the same quality.
Good location of the property-10mins walk from the port. Has nice view and it’s quiet. Polite staff.
