The room was quite small with 3 of us but with the outdoor patio area it was ok.

Incredible views, having a fairly private seating area outdoors which overlooked the bay. Staff were very friendly & helpful with any requests. Great location.

No shelf in bathroom to put any toiletries, we were room 11. Only 1 bedside table, 4 coat hanger! Nowhere to put your clothes, as no shelves, so used our bags and pillows off the bed to put our clothes on!

There was no shower curtain so the water went everywhere on the floor which meant the floor was wet when having to use the toilet

Everything was absolutely perfect. The view was breathtaking, breakfast was delicious and not heavy. The location was superb. You walk out to alleyway and you have a plethora of restaurants, The area is quiet at night. Loved everything about it. I will return.

The hotel was great for our purposes and our first two days and nights were quiet and peaceful, with a few other independent couples, as we had hoped. Unfortunately, for the remainder of our stay nearly all the rooms in the hotel were taken by a US tour group. The group were very loud, and in my view inconsiderate of the fact that there were other guests in the hotel who might want to enjoy the otherwise peaceful and beautiful surroundings. I believe they also invited others they knew who were staying elsewhere onto the Sunset Hotel terrace to enjoy the stunning views, which just increased the crowd at times.

This hotel is in a great location, with fantastic views of the caldera & is at the top of the cliff so you don’t have to climb down many steps or back up again. Our room 19 was very small & minimalist but we had plenty of space outside to sit on the gorgeous terrace with its comfortable furniture. The bed was very comfortable and the shower had good power. Nek, the owner was away most of our 4 night stay but Elsa & Maria did a fantastic job of assisting with us with information on buses, taxis, directions etc. The hotel was immaculate and well looked after by the small team.

We had a wonderful stay at Sunset Hotel and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Santorini. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel at home. They were incredibly kind, attentive, and always happy to help with anything we needed, including arranging an early checkout, late check-in, and taxis. Traveling with a toddler can be challenging, but the comfort and service here made it easy. Our mornings began with a delicious full breakfast, and our evenings ended with unforgettable views of the Caldera, truly breathtaking sunsets right outside our room. A perfect, relaxing stay in a stunning location with thoughtful hospitality throughout.

There was nothing not to like. There’s an emergency light at night but do note the hotel can cover it for you if you ask.

The room is bright, immaculately clean and very comfortable. The view from the shared terrace is magnificent and there are plenty of comfortable lounge chairs & tables to sit at as well as your own table, with umbrella and chairs at each room’s little outdoor patio area. There is also a small chlorinated spa pool on the terrace which is shared, but worked well…..we used it quite a bit to relax in. The sunsets are amazing from this hotel, and you have an uninterrupted view without the crowds. Breakfast is served either in the dining/bar area or outdoors if you prefer. The staff are so friendly and accommodating & Nick the manager is available onsite throughout the day & is so helpful with any requests. We cannot fault this place.
