We had a courtyard view room at the front of the property… got a little noisy at times when sitting out on the balcony at night.

Perfect area for avoiding the tourist hustle… hire a car though (book through the super helpful host Alois for a good deal - at dropped off and picked up from the property so no hassle). Rooms are nice, clean with everything you need but we either ate out or ordered in from one of the local tavernas most of the time (again… Alois ordered for us). There’s a local beach 10 mins walk away which seemed mainly used by the locals - there’s no shops or bar/eatery and no sun beds or umbrellas either but Alois has umbrellas to borrow if you fancy it… just pack food and drinks to take along. If you fancy a more touristy beach outlook, Alois offers a daily beach run to Bouka beach just the other side of Lefkimmi - drop off at 11am picking up at 4pm - perfect. There’s a decent bar/restaurant there with sun beds AND Alois has negotiated free beds for his guests (3rd row and back.. but fine) with a special pass. Make sure you’re there on a Wednesday!! Barbecue night… Alois takes guests to a local market with butcher to get your chosen meat etc. for the occasion… the port souvlaki and chicken skewers were amazing and all cooked by Alois for you. The Ouzo will come out too - I remembered the following day why I don’t drink ouzo any more!! All in all what made the whole 10 nights the best was the hosts. Alois is amazing and looks after each guests individual needs… nothing is impossible.

Appartments are very comfortable and well equipped. Beautiful garden and pool area, very good location with parking spots. The biggest advantage of staying in Anemomylos are hosts who are amazing, warm and helpful people who will make sure your stay is unforgetable.

The only thing I didn’t like was that there wasn’t any space nearby for walks, a promenade, or a small town to stroll through.

A peaceful and pleasant place to stay on the southern part of the island We had a very enjoyable stay in this quiet and calm area of the island. The rooms were clean and well-equipped — we didn’t miss anything. Although our apartment was only partially renovated, it felt cozy and, most importantly, very clean. The TV had access to YouTube and Netflix, which was a nice extra. When we arrived, a bottle of water was waiting for us in the fridge, which we really appreciated after a late flight. Connie and Alois take excellent care of all the rooms and truly do their best to make guests feel comfortable. Every Wednesday, they organize a barbecue evening for all guests, which is a lovely touch and a great way to meet other families. Each apartment also comes with a cloth bag — if you put some coins in it, fresh bread is delivered daily. The pool is definitely one of the highlights — it’s beautifully maintained, and the area around it is clean and relaxing, with sun loungers, grass, and olive trees. The only downside is the lack of walking paths in the immediate area, so having a car is essential. There is a small convenience store next door for basic needs, and large supermarkets are just a 5-minute drive away. You’ll also find a variety of tavernas and restaurants just a few minutes away by car — there’s plenty to choose from. We felt very safe everywhere we went on the island, even with small children. The beaches nearby are absolutely beautiful — clean, with crystal-clear shallow water, sunbeds, beach bars, and restaurants. Perfect for families. If you’re looking for a quiet, clean place with great hospitality and local charm, we definitely recommend it.

There was some road noise during the day as it suits back from the main road, although not a main road as we know them in the UK! This was never a problem at night or in the mornings and didn't disturb us at all. It was also a 20-minute walk into the small village of Lefkimmi for dinner.

This is such a wonderful setup. Run as a family business, with just 8 rooms, the atmosphere was quiet and friendly. The whole place was kept to a very high standard, and any difficulties were immediately rectified by Alois, who was friendly and helpful but unobtrusive. Alois runs a daily shuttle to the local beach where his guests have free use of most of the sunbeds. The pool is magnificent, and the bbq run by the family every Wednesday was the perfect end to our holiday. The interactions between all the guests were so friendly, despite apparent language barriers, with everyone kindly making the effort to speak English as the common language. Some of the beaches nearby are excellent - shallow, sandy, and clean. We especially liked Gardenos beach, just up the coast, which was quieter than others. We would strongly recommend this accommodation in an unusually as yet undeveloped and peaceful area of Corfu, despite its apparent proximity to Kavos.

Alois is a really great host. We can spend time with him and his family twice on the barbecue party. Place and rooms are very clean. Near to the hotel is a small but very nice beach. Area is very peacful. Alois every day deliver fresh bread for his guests. It was a pleasure to spend time in Corfu.

The week in this structure was amazing. The place is quite far away from Corfu Town, but the quiet you will experience is invaluable. The flat is beautiful, fully equipped and comfortable. The pool area, together with the hosts, are the most cool things in the structure. Pool always open, quiet and top place to relax. Alois is a super host, every Wednesday he organises a BBQ night with all guests and it’s a funny moment to share and to know other people. Even if is far from the most famous beaches (in the north) the mark is 10 out of 10 because you will never find a place anywhere on Corfu like this.

Absolutely amazing! The owner and his family are very friendly and thoughtful. They host a bbq every Wednesday which brings everyone staying at Anemomylos together and allows for wonderful connections with people from all over Europe that you would have otherwise never met. The place is even better than in the pictures. Cannot wait to come back.

We stayed here and were very pleasantly surprised. The hosts were extremely welcoming and friendly, quickly responding to our needs and providing useful information about the area. They helped us organize a yacht trip and rent a car cheaply. Additionally, there is a daily opportunity to get free rides to the beach and the shopping center. A BBQ evening was organized, allowing us to meet other house residents and enjoy delicious food. The house was clean, tidy, and well-maintained. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with all necessary amenities. We especially liked the beautifully arranged surroundings and the privacy this place offered. The pool area was very well-kept. The location was ideal – while the main attractions were quite a distance away, they were easily accessible by car. During our stay, we could enjoy peace and quiet. It was an excellent experience that we would recommend to anyone seeking comfort and privacy.

Everything about our stay was wonderful. The hosts, Alois, Connie & Frederika were very welcoming, sharing their knowledge on the area & really helpful to my son to soothe a patch of sunburn. The accommodation was perfectly clean & spacious, the weekly BBQ nights hosted by Alois were a highlight and were a lovely way to meet the other guests. I would absolutely recommend ANEMOMYLOS as a lovely relaxing holiday. In my opinion a car is needed to fully enjoy exploring the area.

Can be a bit remote from the attractions in the north of the island. But honestly I prefer the south of the island as it is much more laid back.

Very nice facilities and great welcome from the owners. The apartment is very well maintained and there is a big garden and swimming pool. There are many restaurants and supermarkets in the area. Also there are beautiful beaches 10min from the apartment, like Gardenos Beach. I highly recommend this place.
