Smelly bathroom despite the efforts from the staff to fix it. Also, laundry was overpriced considering it didn’t include ironing. And mind that the complementary breakfast includes only a basic dish from the cafe downstairs, with limited choice and quantity (we ended up spending extra money every morning)

Hotel is centrally located just next to the bus stop so it make it very easy to travel. If you have car there is public parking nearby as well. Also super close to center with the shops and restaurants in Apollonia. Very nice mountain view. Room was big enough for one person with small balcony. Cleaned everyday. Super friendly staff and good breakfasts.

The hotel operates in conjunction with an excellent cafe/taverna where breakfast and other meals there were all very good. Friendly service equally so. My single room was situated in the quiet courtyard garden. The hotel is very well situated in Apollonia, and for the bus to other villages/beaches.

Fabulous location for hiking around the island and exploring the many lovely shops and restaurants of Apollonia. The hotel is very good value for money, serving a lovely breakfast each morning in their sunny cafe, complete with pastries and biscuits made in their own on site patisserie. The staff were all really lovely and helpful, as the Greek people always are. Sifnos is great for its well marked hiking trails, leading to some unexpectedly lovely beaches. Anthousa proved a great place to return to each day after walking through the countryside. Would love to return to complete the rest of the walks.

Beautiful room, mine had a little balcony, immaculately clean with fresh decor. Comfortable bed, nice linens, abundant large towels, and good temperature control. This is a family run business and the owners are very nice and savvy. They have the hotel, its restaurant, and a couple of shops that sell beautiful pastries and ice cream. Plenty of restaurants very close by, and two markets up the town walkway, maybe 0.5km. Apollonia is central to everywhere on the island, which is why I chose it. Use the bus system; there's a stop at the hotel, and another maybe 50 meters away. I visited Gialos and Faros, and was glad I stayed in Apollonia.

Room didn't have a kettle, For the price the bathroom can be upgraded and renovated. The hotel is in a good central location in the island. Good for people who want to explore the island and enjoy the town life in Appolonia and near by shops. We did not drive a car and it's easy to explore the other places in the island by foot, taxi and public bus.

Family business, good atmosphere and friendly people. Exceptional Greek bakery at the hotel, which you can enjoy while you stay there and bring delicious goodies back home with you for your family and friends. My wife and I stayed at the hotel for a week prior to Easter. We enjoyed a calm and restful time. Our room had a large double bed and a balcony facing a view towards the sea across green fields of spring flowers and villages in the distance. We recommend and we would stay there again.

Tiny room, you had to move sideways around the bed. Same for the bathroom: sosmall that you had to climb over the toilet to get into the shower.

Charming little hotel. We had a good size room with a little sitting area and fridge, and a great view over the countryside. A lovely restaurant downstairs was perfect for breakfast and was open all day for other freshly made meals. There is a little market shop as well, selling traditional sweets made there and other delicious edibles. The staff were excellent, very helpful and welcoming. Parking at a free lot around the corner.

Nothing, it was all great!

The location is excellent, right in front of the main bus stop in Apollonia, which was so handy for us as we relied on buses for travelling around the island. Yes it is on the main road but this was never an issue for us. We loved having breakfast in the breakfast room overlooking the island. Our room was just what we needed, and had a lovely balcony. The owner is excellent, incredibly friendly and helpful - we couldn't have asked for more!

There was nothing that I did not like about the hotel.

Anthousa Hotel was my favorite accommodation when I recently visited 4 Greek Islands solo. Great friendly staff, excellent restaurant and my room was perfect with a balcony where I could watch the sunrise. Located right at the bus stop with hiking trails right outside the door. If I return to Sifnos, I will definitely stay here again!

Everyone was so friendly and helpful! Cafe and bakery offered delicious treats. Location in Apollonia could not have been better and the bus stop was just steps outside the door making all other parts of the island incredibly easy to get to.

Hotel Anthousa is a gorgeous place right in central Apollonia. As a solo traveller it was very handy as the bus stop is right out the front of the hotel making visiting the island very simple, especially if you are without a car. There is an adjoining cafe within the hotel and a lovely shop which sells all types of delicacies. The room was spacious, and the bed and pillows comfortable. I loved my stay.

Best location, heart of town and right next to the buses in all directions. Highly recommended. Rooms have been updated since the photos. Very good beds, room cleaned daily. A little noise from the street if you face the sea (great view) but it never bothered us, close the door and it's gone. Good cafe, good people.

I wished we knew that you needed to book a taxi at the Port in advance but they do have a wonderful bus system that picks you up at the Port and drops you off a few feet from the Anthousa hotel in Apollonia.

Nikki the owner is fabulous. She was friendly and knowledgeable. Our room had a sea view, decorated with a beach vibe and very clean. She gave us a wonderful recommendation to a restaurant and the food was amazing. Her hotel has a family run restaurant and they also have a bakery there which they bake all of their own pastries. I wish we planned on staying there for more than one night. Her employees are also very nice and they all speak English. Highly recommend!
