How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewWe had a garden room that was clean & roomy. Easy walk along the beach front to many restaurants/ bakery/ ferry & bus station. Wifi not great. The apartment is in a very quiet area & priced well. 2€ by bus goes regulary to Agnostas beach & return. A lovely bay with great restaurants. But the small bay gets very packed.
The shower curtain needs to be a few inches longer & would avoid flooding the floor every time the shower is used

Verified reviewIt was a nice place to stay, close to the port and the centre. The room was small but adequate, and was always clean. The hosts were very friendly and let us leave our luggage there after checking out. It would have been nice to have a better equipped kitchen. I would also mention the shower where you have water all over the bathroom. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it.

Verified reviewThe owners are really kind people. They can help you with anything, we had the possibility to check in earlier and to leave our bags there after check out. We have also received a welcoming gift from Antonios. The room was cleaned everyday. We will definitely return someday.

Verified reviewVery nice, big room with a balcony that also had a dryer for clothes, small kitchen with fridge, water and stove- perfect!! Big Thank You to the owners- amazing people who greeted us personally, explained everything about the room, suggested us a nice beach and where to rent car/quad bike. Close to the center and port- around 7-10 minute walking, but still im a quiet and cozy neighbourhood. 😊

Verified reviewSuper accommodation near the sea and very quiet at night. 10 minutes walk from the port. They checked us in earlier than the indicated time, for which we are grateful, and when we were leaving we left our luggage for a few hours. The terrace is huge and with an incredible view of both the sea and the mountains. The hosts are always available. They welcomed us with a bottle of cold water and various products of their own production! There is a parking space provided in the yard of the house. The price-quality ratio is fair. If we have the opportunity and time to visit Skopelos a second time, we already have "our" place!

Verified review11/10!! Probably the best accommodation I have been to during my 4 years in Greece. The host is extremely friendly and attentive, they gave us homemade wine and tsipouro as well as some snacks. The room was spotless, very close to the sea and about 10 minutes by walk to the centre of Skopelos and there is s very nice balcony with a view to the garden with flowers. Definitely recommended!

Here is the English translation of your text: The light fixtures above the beds were rusty. The room curtain was hanging from rusty hooks. The room mirror was scratched, while the bathroom mirror was rusted. The bathroom tiles, as well as the area beneath the toilet, looked like they had never been cleaned — they were completely black from filth!
dear guests all your comments are false and a big defamation for Antonios studios and for all our family because we work all together to the property we done the best as an owner for you to have a nice accomodation you had been in alonissos and the day of your check in it has a lot of wind and the ferry didn't came to skopelos the next day we came to the port of skopelos very early at 6:45 to pick up you and you baggage the check in is after 11:00 on studios but we came to help you we cancelled for the night that you don't sleep but the studio was empty for that night without guests you make a damage to the roller shutter and the technical fixed that and I didn't tell you to give me the money for the damage the studio was cleaned every day taking the garbage every day fixing the bed cleaning the bathroom and every 2 days change the shits and the towel soap and shower gel and toilet paper every day but I'm wondering for something all the other guests they didn't see the rust mirror and the lights under the bed the very dirty bathroom with black tiles from the dirt all the guests in studio no 3 had a nice accomodation and they right the best comment they didn't saw anything? and you saw all this worst thing to the studio and everywhere dirty and rusty.im so sorry because it's unfair for us all this false and the next time you want to do a comment when you are on holiday for a property right your real name and country not other names and false.thank you Antonios Joanna 👍
