How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Verified reviewRenata at the front desk was amazing, so helpful and welcoming. My room was beautifully decorated upon arrival as requested. Views are amazing. Room comfortably fits 3 people, and is clean.
The glasses for cocktails by the bar could be updated instead of just being regular cups. Better breakfast selection, e.g. fresh orange juice and wider variety generally

Verified reviewThis was by far the best hotel room we stayed in during our entire European trip. The design was beautiful. The shower was exceptional! We comfortably fit 3 people in each hotel room. The continental breakfast was delicious and ample. The location was close enough (10 mins) to walk to the main town. We also walked 25 mins to Ornos.
We felt it was a rip off to pay €70 for a 5 minute taxi ride arranged by the hotel from the port to the hotel (we only had one backpack per person). We could have walked it had we known (maybe 20 minutes to walk?). Also, the driver had to be paid in cash. When departing, we decided to figure out our own way to the airport. We ended up taking the bus (from the main town) to the airport 15 mins away for only €2.5 per person.

Verified reviewThe stuff is very lovely. They seemed genuinely happy to help us, explain us everything, we truly felt welcome. The room was clean and spacious enough. It is 10-12min of walking from the city center.
The road to the city center is unpleasant during the day and we felt very dangerous at night, as there are no pedestrian areas - rather people walking on the sides of the street but still partially on the high speed road without proper ligthing. The breakfast is VERY LIMITED, and taking into account the hotel price I would rate breakfast with 0 stars. Even things that were supposed to be there, we had to ask to get them every morning, then they would not refill it back unless asked again.

Do not upgrade to the jacuzzi tub room unless you request in advance to have it on and warm. I called 3times and the front desk staff did not accomodate. The guy hung up on me twice after my first call.The lady kept telling me it works every time I called but It didnt. I paid extra for this room but could not use the tub it was too cold.I always book room with Jacuzzi suite its very important to me. The tub looked great and great view from the tub but unfortunately I couldnt use it. Taxi is a rip off even 8min ride is $40euros plus ... Get a rental or stay put not much is safe walking around or 20min into town along a busy hiway with no sidewalk. Very dangerous. The barber intown charged my brother $80euros for a beard trim and hair buzzcut trim.Not worth but ... Not a convenient location to anything.

As of our location , its only 10 mins walk to the town which is very convenient and all of our guests enjoy the peaceful setting near the beach , but we understand that personal preferences may vary. Verified reviewI can’t put this into words. This was absolutely amazing. The owner Manuela is such a nice person. Also Nikolaos who works at the bar (doing nice espresso martini by the way ) and the kind girl at reception was so lovely. It is a small hotel with such a nice view. The rooms (especially the ones with the pool) are so amazing. They did everything to feel us comfortable. This hotel deserves 12 from 10 stars. It was my friends birthday and we couldn’t spend this in a better location. The breakfast was also nice! The hotel is up the hill. We easily walked this into town. there’s a short cut into town where you can go left along the waterfront. Also at nighttime this was no issue. Only takes you about 10 mins and if you have a look at the ocean it’s not that hard 😀 Thank you again for everything and greetings from Germany. We definitely come back ❤️
