How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Very old resort and rooms were not very clean. feels like 3 stars resort not 5 stars at all. We were all inclusive but the receptionist doesn’t give much information about the meals and drinks included. The resort for family with kids if you are adults then it may not be your first option

Verified reviewLocation is great, a few minute drive to old town. we stayed in 2 bedr beachfront mythica villa with private pool. The location of these rooms is great, easy access to everything. Guest relation Maria was great and accommodating. Pools were great, we had an amazing stay. The new waterpark was fun ...it could do with a few more loungers, but I think it's only just opened and looks like they are making space for more. Food options are great. Parking at hotel was easy. Lots of activities. Main pool is great!

Our room was dated, we have always had nicer rooms when staying before. Gym lacking basic equipment like weights. Drinks are over priced you will spend more on drinks at the buffet than having a meal out each night

Verified reviewThe rooms were excellent in terms of size with a sea view—wonderful location close to Rithamino with a private beach.
1. On the first day, we asked for coffee capsules. There were 5 of us and it took them an hour to arrive. When they arrived they gave us 4 capsules. The next day they already brought us 2 whole boxes. 2. There is only one small elevator for 4 floors.

Beach bar day time staff was extremely rude ! They been to busy talking to each other and ignoring people waiting .. when was 16:43 we wanted to order cocktail ( waiting 10 min as staff was busy talking with each other ) then the guy said to me 16:45 no more coctails . When I said but it’s 16:43 and I’m waiting 10 min he said and what and start lounging . Not a great experience :-/ especially that every one in a hotel is extremely nice apart from bartenders from beach bar ..

We initially had a mythical room but because I had asked that we had a shower we ended up in a room that wasn’t private enough for us as the bathroom was separated in a shower cubicle and a toilet. It was partially my fault as I had read we could have a room with either bath or shower so I mailed and said please make sure we have a shower not realising they would do this. The other rooms had bath/shower which would have been fine. Anyway, we asked to move and ended up in a lower grade room at the other side of the complex away from our mythical bungalow and in a room that was more like a Benidorm room. It was all a bit silly really as we were clearly downgraded but we were desperate for some privacy in the bathroom with a teenager. Also our initial room had a dreadful set up for watching to in bed … all three of us … as that’s what we do as parents with a 14 year old. The mythical room had a double bed facing the ocean with its to behind it that you couldn’t view . Crazy !!! The whole thing sort of spoilt the stay as our Benidorm room was well and truly outdated and pretty rubbish really. As loyalty members I guess we should have known better but making decisions over room changes on your second day is hard.

1. Too much bureaucracy; half an hour of paperwork for check-in, filling out the form for visiting the sauna! 2. Bar on the beach - a glass of ice with syrup and a small piece of pineapple (they call it a cocktail) for 10 euros! 3. Multiple problems with sinks in showers. We flood the room every time using the shower 4. Really cold water in the covered pool
