The stairs to the room were steep but not dangerous. There is a restaurant nearby so at night a bit a noise is heard.

There was plenty of hot water though you have to turn it on for 15 minutes before you need it to heat the waterwhich is fine (though we kept forgetting).

Less than 5 minute walk from harbour -easy level walk. Steep steps at property to rooms could cause some access issues though we were fine. There is a rooftop area with a glimpse of the sea where you can take a drink. We bought some retsina from the local supermarket and kept it in the fridge within the room.

The only door/window available opens towards to a shared balcony, meaning that people can look into the room.

Unfortunately at night, since the nightlife is right below the apartment, the noise is pretty significant, so remember to bring earplugs if you sleep light. Also, the bathroom is quite decadent and needs renovation. The room is very cute. On our last day we also had an issue with the air conditioning, that started to leak and it did so the whole night.

Best location you can hope for! Keep in mind that Hydra is made of hills, so if you go up, you're gonna hate it 'cause going up and down everyday, multiple times per day with high temperatures is not gonna be easy. This is why Areti is amazing, 'cause it' just a couple of minutes from the harbour and right in the middle of the best places to go eat, drink and socialize. The room also has a big terrace (shared with the room next door) which is very cozy.

The electricity stops when you leave the room, so the air condition doesn't work when you leave the apartment.

A flight of steep steps up to the rooms, but the manager helped us with the cases. There were fewer steps than most other places on Hydra. The noise of the aircon unit in the night outside room number 5 kept me awake.

There is a bar immediately under our room, and it was very loud until after midnight. If you are a light sleeper, it will be difficult. There was no dedicated work space or desk, so this unit is only for a holiday stay, as remote work isn't feasible in the room itself - you would need to confirm w/ the front desk that you need dedicated work space (we did not). Also, the stairs were long and steep - if you had mobility issues you would need to ask for another unit.

The unit was spotlessly clean, beds comfy and our unit opened up to a large shared patio with table and chairs available in the sun, or under a beautiful plant-covered balcony (which no one but us used). The unit was within 250 feet of the ferry landing, so it was centrally located and very convenient for restaurants, shops and small stores. So, when it got hot, or we needed a rest, we'd walk back to our unit and sit under the shade to cool down, relax and have a drink. Internet was good.

Ac needs to be repaired, was leaking inside room and was making a loud clicking noise, The washroom's cleanliness is questionable, we left our bags after checkout, they were at the entrance left with the staff, when returning to pick them up, no one was present, anyone could have came and taken them walked away, which we did cause no one retuned for a while, it wasn't secure.

From the entrance everything looked amazing, the room was very cosy with a beautiful painting on the wall, everything was prepared like towels, soaps, douche gels, shampoos, etc. We had everything that we needed there, plates, glasses, cuttlery even some coffee and tea. There was also a really spacious balcony with some tables and chairs perfect for the morning coffee. The room was very clean, the bed sheets also. The cleaning lady was coming everyday to vaccum clean and wipe the floor. In general it was a great experience! 100% reccomand!
