The shower curtains are mouldy and soare shower bottom. In the breakfast I saw a young fill up the bread taking it from a plastic bag and she had no glowes on.

The location was perfect and it was a good value for money.

Bathroom very small and a few light bulbs not working. Breakfast could do with a toaster. Coffee good fruit juice not so good.

Friendly staff, position in town close to all, room overlooking sea. But may be noisy in season with restaurants below room balcony.

Things we didn't like - Bathroom needs updating. - Stained curtains which looked like blood.  - Lack of tea/coffee/kettle facilities in the room.  - Communally, it could have been cleaner.  - The breakfast was VERY limited and lacking in choice. There was coffee but only green tea with one choice of cereal and warm milk (bleurgh!) - The unrelated staff member on reception was incredibly rude and miserable.  - Only one English channel but that's to be expected in a small, family run establishment.  - Not good value for money.  

Things we liked - The room was nice and the beds comfortable. Nice that they'd thought about including a full length mirror and a magnified make-up mirror on the dressing table, too. - Air conditioning and TV included. - Location was lovely with a sea view which was also quiet. - Outsider courtyard area for breakfast is pleasant. - Clearly a family-run establishment which was nice to read about in the comment books from the 1980s! - Nice of them to celebrate its history with the older touches such as the telephone in reception and the tapestry along with family photos.

Whole place needs modernising to brighten it up. Wifi only accessible in reception area

Breakfast adequate but not appetising. Room was a decent size but decor, fixtures and fittings in desperate need of refurbishing. Bed comfortable but bedclothes , although laundered , were stained and damaged.

Lovely Continental breakfast with the best tomatoes and superb greek yoghurt. Rooms with a view over Elounda harbour are stunning. Staff were very welcoming and helpful.

The lady at reception was lovely. We drove to Sitia and realized we had left our passports and money belt in a drawer. She was phoned and went up and found them and put them in her safe for us!! So kind of her. We will recommend her hotel!

Hotel whilst offering great value feels and looks very tired, and really needs updating to meet the needs of the modern traveler. Ie WiFi in room, refreshments. Bed was uncomfortable and furniture battered.

Elounda is a first class location, with the hotel in a really great location.

Bathroom curtain should be replaced by solid walls/cabin. After one shower na water is everywhere. Connection to wifi is almost none - reception told us to use wifi from other restaurant.
