Hardly anything. Maybe the breakfast juice could be a better orange juice (but their freshly squeezed orange juice is excellent).

This family run, relatively small complex is a little jewel. It is located close to the sea and the ancient acropolis of Arkasa. It has been built with a lot of taste so that the swimming pool area is protected from the strong north-western winds. On the other hand, the wind from the sea in the apartments is so pleasant: in 3 and a half weeks, we used air conditioning only twice. Wind from the sea = cool + excellent sleeping+ no mosquitos. The living room and the bedroom in the two apartments we and our daughter got were extremely spacious which is a big plus. There are also large common rooms downstairs. The complex is not new, but maintenance has been excellent. We had two problems, one in each apartment, and they were immediately fixed. The cleaning is simply superb. Fotini and Iannis, who are running this hotel, are nice, ironic, warm people working hard long hours. We enjoyed many times talking to them. The patio area next to the pool is very nice: An ideal place to have a Spritz in the evening, an ouzaki at night, but also breakfast and dinner. The pool is never crowded and our grandchildren immensely enjoyed. This place also attracts interesting people both from Greece and from other countries: We enjoyed meeting several of them. From the hotel, you can walk down to the beach in 10 minutes going by some ancient paleocristian churches with mosaics. There is a nice, inexpensive taverna at the beach (on the left looking at the sea). Their pork gyros plate is excellent. Arkasa is, in summer, a lively authentic Greek village. You can drive from there in half an hour or less to Lefkos or Diakoftis, Amopi, Apela (with stunning, ancient church in the rock) and other beautiful beaches on the eastern coast. Menetes is also close and worthy visiting with authentic Greek life. At least one trip to the north is indispensable: Olymbos, Diafani, etc.

Excellent value for money. The hotel is very nice, with spacious rooms and spotless clean. The location is also great, we walked to the Agios Nikolaos beach, and to Arkassa's main square in the evening. The staff/owner was very helpful and provided us with a lot of tips of places to visit. We are definitely coming back here next time we are in Karpathos.

Our apartment was huge, with a fully equipped kitchen and every comfort. The air conditioning splits were new and very silent in both rooms. Mattresses were perfect, with a topper on our double bed and good quality beds for the kids too. Our rooms were sea front and we enjoyed a pleasant view on the ancient acropolis and the blue Aegean Sea. Mrs Fotini, the owner, was incredibly kind to us and available to help for every necessity. We didn’t spend much time at the swimming pool, but it was perfectly maintained and the owners were always at the pool bar, ready to serve you with great cocktails and snacks. The hotel was clean and very quiet, with most of the guests from Northern Europe.
