Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Excellent hosts who looked after us very well. Lovely cosy Greek style accommodation with everything we could want, in a very peaceful location. We took up the offer of being picked up and taken to a lovely local restaurant and brought back to the property by a waiter. Our hosts also booked a taxi for our early morning flight, perfect. We would happily stay here again.

Walk to the beach was a bit long and of course coming back is all uphill. Then again just about everything in Greece is up a hill.
The owner did everything possible to make it enjoyable. They did have more than just coffee in the room. The rolls, cookies, and other snacks, as well as the orange juice were a nice touch.

The facilities are very basic but quite adequate The shower was a handheld arm only It’s a house in a suburban area so there are no shops nearby
It was an emergency stay for me after a missed flight. It’s about 15 min from the airport. The owner was there to meet me at midnight when I arrived The room was humble but very clean and spacious with a sofa, table chairs as well as the bed Also tea coffee and a fridge It was very quiet The owner arranged for a taxi for me to get back to the airport early next morning

The place inside of village without normal road. It was including breakfast, but it is not really breakfast . So it's better for the owner not to mention breakfast as a service.
The owner was a nice person. Took care about us with late check in

The taxi driver getting there was awful. Make sure you have the exact address. I even used the FreeNow taxi app, but he claimed that he didn't have the address. He was trying to drop me at some random house! Just make sure you have the address ready. It is in a lovely, quiet area.
I was traveling alone, 56 year old woman, picking up a rental car and family the following day. Took a train up from Kiato and a taxi from the airport to the property. It was extremely clean, I felt safe, and the owner was efficient helpful and friendly. I will stay again!

It was a bit further from the airport than we thought, but a whole lot better than Athens itself. OK to find, 15 minutes from the airport. Convenient! Large upstairs apartment with 2 bedrooms.
The hosts were very friendly, even baked a traditional greek dessert for us. Very nice people!

The breakfast was a bit disappointing. One of the rooms was a bit small for the number of guests.
We stayed overnight waiting for an airport connection. 2 families with 6 children altogether. The children just loved their overnight stay. The hostess was extremely friendly. She ordered an evening meal to suit us. She even played with the children. My 8 year old granddaughter says it was the best hotel of her stay!

Everything was fine for us but if you are expecting a chain hotel, this is not like that, more of an old fashioned pension and very charming.
The owner met us on arrival and showed us into our room. He was very friendly and helpful and even gave us a couple of beers for free. The room was spacious and comfortable and a lovely continental breakfast was provided. The room was spotlessly clean and had a small kitchenette/eating area.

I would have liked a tV in my room.
The hostess was waiting for my arrival and walked us us stairs. We had a awful, scary taxi ride and to have the owner and his wife waiting for us made me feel so safe.

It is a little far from the airport so adding the taxi for both directions to the airport might eliminate any advantage that one has on the price. Perhaps a long term stay will be better.
The host was waiting for us so there is no problem with getting the key. We did not have much time to chat or getting to know the area so it is not much to say about.

Nothing, really. The pillows were uncomfortable.
Our host was amazing. He was so friendly and accommodating. He organised a taxi for us as we were leaving at 5.00am. There was a lovely garden that he took great pride in. I know some people have commented that it is in the middle of nowhere, but we just wanted somewhere fairly close to the airport for a night. We found the property tranquil and peaceful, which is just what we needed after spending a few days in busy Dubrovnik.

The location is close to the airport, we spent few hours before our plane but the host is brilliant, met all our requirements also the difficult time of arrival.He made himself available for check-in and arranged for us a taxi to reach the airport. Breakfast simple to be made in the rooms but fine if you’re staying for short time. Room perfectly clean and comfortable.Thank you!

Communication / coordination with taxi pick up (didn't know where exactly to meet the driver - it wasn't properly communicated)... but all ended up fine and driver was friendly and great in the end.

Room was OK, but basic. Served the purpose.
Owner was very accommodating to our very late arrival. He met use at the taxi at 2 AM, due to a late flight. And he helped us manage the taxis to/from the airport which was key. The room was solid, but nothing special. He had some bread and cheese and juice and coffee in our room when we woke up. Nothing special, but served the purpose. Overall, he was helpful, room was OK, and it was close to the airport.
