We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The room although big seemed a little disorganized I walked in and chairs and stool were in places that didn’t make sense. It felt as though it was a storage area

Nothing to complain about.
Location of the hotel was perfect as it is located right at the center of town and right on the marina with spectacular views. Healthy breakfast with good options.

The TV in the room was not working. The ' city view' balcony meant we couldn't open the window due to the proximity of the building behind and lack of privacy. In the bathroom wall there was a wooden attachment that hang loose. The major problem were the mosquitoes in the whole area ( that were also found in the room) that unfortunately did not allow us to relax.
The location was excellent. The staff was polite and helpful.

Certain staff members had a very “laid back”, to the point of not caring, attitude to certain issues that were encountered during our stay. Admittedly, unprecedented heavy rains caused damage and resulted in some televisions to lose the signal. When reported to staff, the response was far from satisfactory. It appeared to fall within the category of “too hard”. The overall cleanliness also could do with more attention.
The location was next to none. Unbelievable. Certain staff members, particularly Eleni, did everything possible to assure we had a good stay.

There was a problem with our toilet running on which was very noisy but the staff came and showed us a way to stop it and also offered us a new room if it was a problem.
There was a lovely sea view, The bed was huge and very comfy, the staff were very helpful.

The property was sub standard and was not clean. The room had not been cleaned properly and there were minimal towels in the room. The cleaning staff left a bottle of cleaning product in the bathroom.

We couldn’t get in .. they took our money and haven’t refunded it .. they were a ‘no show’ .. it might be great during the mai. Holiday season but beware if booking at the end of the season .. basically took our money and didnt deliver on a room
We arrived at check in time to find a locked up hotel.. as if locked up for the end of the season ..there was no response as to phoning the hotel nor and response to texting a taped up number in the window .. we were told check in was after 3pm but despite waiting from approx 3-4pm we did not find any one local who even knew if it was open .. only choice was to find another hotel for the night which was over 30 minutes away

I could have been given the room I booked months in advance. There were other places I could have booked which I am sure I would have had no problems with. This is not the way you treat tourists who pay good money to travel with their families.
I cannot tell you much as when I arrived with my family I was told I had no room. Totally unacceptable as my room had been booked for months. I was told I had to go to another property which was in the middle of nowhere after driving down some sketchy roads. Thankfully my husband speaks the language as I would hate to see another person stuck in this situation. My confirmation said this location and address but I kept getting told I was at the other villa in the middle of nowhere. Totally unacceptable and will never trust this booking.com site again.
