A little worried about our young grandsons being so close to the private pool where there was no gate or fenc3 of any kind. Great for adults. Constant supervision required for kids.

Breakfast was smallish in spread but quite varied and of good quality. The pools were fabulous. The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing.

If there was just one thing it would be the coffee at breakfast - but to be honest we couldn’t find nice coffee in Corfu at all so not solely this hotel! Beyond that there’s really nothing else that we could say!

We had a great stay at Hotel Athina! We booked a room that had a shared pool right outside along with a small terrace and sun loungers, this was really worthwhile mainly for the sunset every evening which was stunning! There is a huge pool as well, we were there in August at high season and always somewhere to sit by the pool, there is also a beach just below the hotel with beds for 10 euros and you get a 2 euro voucher to spend at the cafe or bar - really good value as the beach is really nice. We hired a boat on the beach as well for the day and drove around to some of the smaller coves and beaches nearby. Breakfast is good, the evening buffet is also good and the cafe by the beach has delicious food. If you are there on a Monday they do a BBQ buffet which is great! Staff friendly, some nice restaurant nearby and we would definitely stay again!

Lovely property right in the heart of the town. Our room was spotless. Advertised as a small double it was actually more than adequate for two of us. The bed was super comfortable. The staff were super helpful and friendly. Breakfast was perfect.

There could have been a curtain or screen between the double bed and sofa bed sleeping areas. Other than that- it was perfect.

Loved the location- right on the beach and in the centre of a safe, friendly and beautiful village. The pool, restaurant facilities, and swim up rooms were amazing. The staff were so friendly and helpful, accommodating when it came to our early arrival and late departure, even giving the children hugs when we left. The whole area was clean and well kept- rooms cleaned daily, as were the pools.

The pool/beach side restaurant stopped serving food at 7pm and it would have been so beautiful to eat dinner as the sun went down over the water.

Angela gives a warm welcome and great service. The villa was lovely with private pool. The communal areas are beautifully designed. Pool with sea view is breathtaking.

The buffet breakfast is a bit limited, but does the job if you want to stay at resort.

The new Junior Suites opened in May 2025 are 5 star accommodation. Ground floor suite has its own private pool access vernadah, with direct view over the amazing sunsets. The suites are exceptionally clean, modern styling and daily housekeeping. The staff, especially Angela at the front desk, are brilliant. Friendly, informative and fun. The staff at the Aria poolside restaurant went above and beyond to cater for an impromptu 21st birthday celebration,including sourcing an ice cream cake on a Sunday afternoon. The local town has numerous great restaurants and there are many great walks along the Agios Stefanos beach, and across to Arillas. Quiet beach front location without lots of raging clubs or noise. Very family friendly. Opportunity to let your nature out if you are so inclined at the far end of the beach! Some of the most stunning sunsets we've seen!

After a disappointing first week at an unclean villa that left my partner and me unwell, we came across Hotel Athina by chance while driving—and it turned out to be the highlight of our trip. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and accommodating. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the views from our balcony were absolutely stunning. A heartfelt thank you to Vera, Angela, and the entire team for making our stay so special. Highly recommended!

Loo had to be fixed but was prompt in doing so. Paid to have a subbed on the hotel’s beach area, €1 only applied. This would have been nice it it were free as you’ve paid to stay at the hotel.

Staff were friendly and Stu was very peaceful. Breakfast had a good selection.

For this level of a hotel, we were disappointed of some minor but annoying issues. The bathroom was missing any shampoo and shower gel. There were spots all over the walls and ceiling from smashed mosquitoes which had not been cleaned for like weeks or months. Finally, when we asked for pool towels, they told us it's with extra charge per day. For its budget, it's totally unacceptable.

Amazing view especially in sunset. The pool is enormous and beautifully designed. Breakfast and dinner is delicious. Friendly staff that run the place. In general a nice and quiet place for relaxing vacations.
