How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Verified reviewEverything ! The view is spectacular! Everything was just so perfect. The incredible breakfast that are served every morning. This is a hidden gem and just perfect! And then there is the staff… They are a well oiled machine and everything is just done right. There is nothing that they will not help you with. Or at least point you in the right direction. You feel like your family when you stay here. We will be returning for sure. We even stopped back when we were on the cruise ship that came back to Oia and showed our friends this property and what it has to offer. This is a must. I just can't say enough great things about them

Verified reviewGreat location with a beautiful view and wonderful room. Every room has a different name, and we stayed in Melanie's which had a comfortable king size bed, sofa, cocktail table, table and two chairs and it is very beautiful. Delicious breakfast delivered to your room to eat out on your terrace. Terrace had two lounge chairs, table with two chairs and an umbrella. Life is good here.
I'm not saying this as a negative as this is part of the location, just an advisement that this resort is not for anyone with mobility issues as you need to travel steep steps.

Verified reviewHotel staff and management are very friendly, happy, and attentive. The service is superb and can not be faulted. The rooms are cleaned at least twice a day, which is excellent. Also the views from the rooms are the best in the world!
Steps down to the rooms are a bit dangerous and you need to be careful.

Verified reviewI had the most amazing experience at the Atrina Canava hotel. The staff were amazing and made sure that everything was perfect for my stay. They accommodated all of my needs and were helpful and always friendly. The suite was absolutely incredible and clean and the views were amazing. The hotel was also a short walk to all the main tourist spots as well as shops, restaurants and bars. I would highly recommend.

Verified reviewEvery little thing in this establishment is just perfect. - the location is ideal as the hotel is on the very beginning of Oia center : ideal to wander in oia streets - the view from every single rooms are idyllic with private sun beds and table in front of our room - the breakfast available has many different options, is really good, and is brought to you on your private « balcony » which really makes a difference - can’t even describe the generosity of Atrina’s team, which was there to help us for taxi, restaurant and experience booking

Verified reviewIt's taken me a while to write this review because I can't put into words how wonderful this boutique hotel is. The views, the food and drinks (thanks Antonio), the pool, the staff, the rooms, and the location were all amazing. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like family. My husband and I were spending our 25th Wedding Anniversary at the hotel and I had requested some assistance with a simple vow renewal. The hotel had not done one before, but they were able to arrange a small ceremony on our balcony for us. They arranged for a wedding planner to help with a few simple details and to get me a bouquet. There was champagne and the hotel bartender, Antonio, (moonlighting as a videographer) recorded the ceremony. He edited the video for us and emailed it to us upon our return home. It was such a wonderful experience for us and the hotel exceeded all of our expectations. We were also given an amazing room with a larger and more private balcony to accommodate our ceremony. Oia was fun to explore, but we found ourselves spending most of our time on our balcony, enjoying the view and exceptional food. If Greece wasn't so far away from us, I'd spend every summer at Atrina Canava.

Verified reviewThe most beautiful setting for a getaway was our apartment overlooking the sea. The staff went above and beyond and were so friendly and welcoming.
There aren’t doors in the bedrooms because the apartment was once a cave which ended up being so unique that we didn’t mind.
