Location close to the airport and other points of interest on the island. Very friendly host, we were able to check in earlier, you can leave your luggage in advance. We asked for extra breakfast and didn't pay anything, including details and recommendations for visiting the island, car rental. Absolutely everything wonderful! Thank you to the staff!

We would have liked the private pool to be heated, especially in the evening, otherwise it was absolutely fine during the day.

Beautiful clean apartment with all things needed. Staff are very friendly and I recommend to book your trips / transport with them. Amazing stay. Short walk to supermarket and a couple of restaurants too.

It was a beautiful villa and in a quiet location with a 10 min walk to the main area of the restaurants and supermarkets . Felt safe as it is gated with only those who stay have access. Staff very friendly and very helpful. If we needed anything from trips to car rentals or taxis they sorted for us. We had an amazing experience.

The place is gorgeous ,

however the drainage in the shower was blocked and it made showering really unpleasant. I was really excited to get to use their hot tub but I couldn’t because it was extremely dirty

The property was very clean and as per shown in the pictures. Location was good as pretty central to most attractions. The breakfast was excellent with a surprise element every day. The host Panos and Dimitris were extremely helpful and friendly and took the trouble to sit down and plan our itinerary as well as give recommendations in addition to help with booking cars and trips

Nothing really. Everything was great. Location needs a car though as around there are some restaurants and super markets but to Fira and Oia etc u need a car

Aval is a beautiful place to stay, made even more special by the father and son who own and run it, Pavlos and Dimitris. They are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and nothing is too much trouble, making our stay in Santorini truly memorable. The accommodation is spotless and modern, and the breakfast delivered to our room each morning added such a lovely touch. Ask Pavlos or Dimitris to make you an Aval Aperol Spritz, there is a little healthy competition who makes the best one ;))

Everything about our stay was simply amazing! The place is run by a wonderful father and son duo who were incredibly welcoming from the moment we arrived. They shared so many great tips and insights about what to see and do during our stay including clever, budget-friendly suggestions on how and when to visit the most beautiful spots also those ones that are not very well known from travel catalogues. I can’t recommend enough to listen to their advice: thanks to them, our entire trip was unforgettable. It wasn’t just Santorini’s magic that made this experience perfect; it was also these two hosts who introduced us to hidden gems, fantastic yet affordable restaurants with breathtaking views, and made us feel so at home. The accommodation itself is stunning – spotlessly clean and exactly like the photos, if not better. Honestly, I’ve never experienced this level of hospitality before. I truly wish them many more years of success running this amazing place!

Centrally located on the island, the villas and entire complex were stunning — from the gorgeous curved architecture, to the fully equipped kitchenette and our very own private pool, everything was perfect. And Panos gave us fantastic recommendations on what to do and where to dine, and we followed every one of them — each experience was unforgettable and truly made our trip.

The bathroom light is a bit low

Beautiful room/ apartment with everything we needed, plus the most delicious fresh breakfast delivered to your room each morning. Great for families. The staff is very friendly and accepting. They helped us rent a car and plan spots to eat and view the sunsets. All of the recommendations helped make our trip very fun and memorable. We only booked two night. If I did it again, I would say 3 minimum!

The host is absolutely fantastic and super welcoming and helpful. He will do his absolute best to make your stay wonderful and unforgettable with arranging excursions, car rental and everything else you'd need. Amazing pool and suite design. Very peaceful location and atmosphere, it's a smaller establishment so you won't feel crowded at all. Breakfast was fresh and well prepared, with some local delicacies as well as some more international food.

It's a bummer that the hotel is listed as being a adults only hotel but having young kids in the pool everyday. As our room was just next to the pool, it wasn't ideal for getting some rest and peace in your room or by the pool. You'd have to keep this in mind when booking, if some noise doesn't bother you it will be a fantastic stay. No separate toilet, for a 4 people room, it makes it hard to move around and have some privacy.

Simply the best place my wife and I have ever stayed. The hosts were extremely kind and welcoming, giving us great tips about the island as well as a delicious local restaurant. They were always available and showed genuine care and hospitality. The accommodation was extremely clean and well-organized. The pool area was calm and quiet. The breakfast was amazing, served in the room with delicious and fresh products. Our stay was perfect, and we will definitely be coming back again!

Breakfast was really good, and huge! We were unable to finish it !! Location was quite nice, it's in the middle of the island. Everything is doable using public transportation. Staff was amazing, they gave us really good advices and ideas on how to plan our trip the best possible way !

The property is clean and beautifully decorated. Feels very relaxing! It’s out of the centre but all the buses come through here and they’re €2 each way which was much cheaper than taxis. Although AVAL have a taxi service they use which was super easy and cheaper than uber. Also the breakfast delivered to our room each morning was bliss and delicious!

The only thing that would have made our stay even better would have been if we had some sun loungers in our room by our private pool.

We had a lovely time at this beautiful, clean and luxurious hotel. The breakfast was incredible and served at our apartment. The swimming pool was relaxing. The staff was very nice. It is well located because it is in the center of Santorin so you'll never be far from anywhere. We strongly recommend!

We stayed at AVAL for 10 days, and the experience was fantastic. We were looking for a peaceful holiday where we could relax, and this hotel was perfect for that! We were served a delicious breakfast to our suite every morning, including bread rolls, eggs, fruit, juice, coffee, and various sweets. The breakfast varied from day to day, so it was exciting each morning to see what treats they had prepared for us. The hotel also offers lunch and dinner, which can be delivered to your suite. We ordered several times and can highly recommend the chicken gyros platter! The suite we stayed in had two bedrooms, both with air conditioning. There was also a fully equipped kitchen with everything we needed, including a dishwasher and washing machine. The suite had terraces on both the first and second floors. Every morning, we enjoyed sitting outside on the lower terrace with our breakfast and coffee. There was also a private pool and comfortable sun loungers with sun from morning until late afternoon. All the staff were incredibly friendly, especially the father and son, Panos and Dimitris, who own the hotel. They gave us great tips for excursions around the island and offered car rentals at a very good price. There is no doubt that we will stay here again the next time we visit Santorini!

Panos, and his son Dimitri, manage this small hotel located in the heart of Santorini. An oasis of tranquility where the kindness of the hosts and staff is the main element. Panos went out of his way to organize an early check in and a late check out for us. He provided us with all the useful information to explore the island and guide us in choosing traditional taverns. The structure is made up of ten suites that develop around the central courtyard where the swimming pool is located. You will feel like you are living in a small village. The architectural and aesthetic details are very well cared for. We stayed in a suite distributed on two levels, on the ground floor the open space and the bathroom and on the first floor the bedroom with terrace and jacuzzi. Every morning breakfast is served directly in the suites, between 8:30 and 9:30 based on the time chosen by each guest, in this way it is possible to have breakfast directly on the patio that the suite is equipped with. The hotel is less than ten minutes drive from the airport, Kamari beach and Fira. We can't wait to return.
