This is an amazing apartment just a few minutes walk into the centre of Petalidi in one direction and 10 minutes walk to the beach in the other. The views from the terrace are amazing. It’s incredibly well equipped and Vasilis is and incredibly generous hots with his welcome supplies of bread, wine, milk, coffee, sweets, jams and more. Honestly everything you can think of is there. Also when we had a problem with the TV remote he fixed it immediately.

Bay View House is a great reference for a holiday in Messinia; Petalidi is a small village in a strategic position, about 40 minutes from all sites of interest (Kalamata, Costa Navarino, Methoni, Koroni, etc. etc). A few steps from the central square where there are markets and restaurants, it is at a right distance to enjoy tranquility and privacy. The apartment has numerous advantages: the first is the wonderful terrace that allows a continuous view of the Messina Gulf, which embraces you at any time of the day. Then there are all the comforts of the apartment, super-equipped; plus private parking under the house, in the shade. Last, but absolutely not least, the kindness and hospitality of the owner Vasilis. Absolutely recommended.

The flat is just as beautiful as in the pictures, clean, modern and very well equipped. Located in front of the sea, with a stunning view over the bay and very close to town with all its amenities and lovely restaurants as well as the beach. Vasilis was a welcoming and friendly host and provided us with some great advice on places to visit, beaches to go to and restaurants. Really loved everything about the stay!

Family friendly, no need to take the car for groceries shopping. The beach within few minutes walk. Full comfort flat, we enjoyed making our cold coffee every morning. Very nice host, full of attention and good advice. We will come back !

How could you not like anything?

Amazing Stay in beautiful Bay View House, directly overlooking the sea. The apartment was spotlessly clean, the facilities and furnishings excellent quality. The host Vasilis was extremely accommodating, helping us with everything including things to do and see and restaurants to visit - which were all perfect. Always at hand if you had a question. You cant beat the view from the balcony/terrace. This is what gives this house it's edge ... something quite special. So many extras were given to us inside the accommodation such as wine / fruit / jams / fridge contents etc ... special touches that add to a great holiday. Location is also perfect, Petalidis is a small, family, quiet location which is the ideal location for rest and relaxation. Would certainly re-visit!

My sister-in-law was staying in the second bedroom and she commented that she would have liked a mirror in her room for getting dressed. I'm pretty sure that this will be addressed shortly.

The location was fantastic and the welcome received was amazing. We really enjoyed the view from the balcony which showed the calmness and serenity of Petalidi. We appreciated the supply of essential food to get our holiday off to a great start. We will definitely be back another time.

Very nice house with a great view across the bay. The house is very well equipped and the host is very friendly and helpful. Good place to stay and do some road trips to the nearby waterfalls or lovely small towns in the area. Can recommend the castle in Methoni and dinner at Kastraki-Meteroro restaurant near Kalamata.

The apartment is nicely furnished and equipped to a high standard - we found everything we could think of. From the terrace there is a wonderful view of the sea and a small fishing port. From the apartment we were close to everything (5 min walking) - to the square with a supermarket, bakery, cafes and taverns, to the sandy beach or the beach with sunbeds and a bar. The owner Vasilis is a very nice, helpful and generous person. We had a wonderful vacation in Petalidi.

One small thing. Ther isn't big trafic, but the road runs very close to the house, so you can't keep opend vindows in bedrooms as it's disturbing. Mabye when they open the road around Petalidi which was now closed, there will be even less trafic. But you can still have fresh air from terrace or to use aircondition.

The best equipped apartment we ever booked - all kitchen things, games, xbox, lot of food for start, even basic medicaments! Best location in the village and best view from terrace. Lot of local restaurants nearbei, fishmarket every morning. Safety camera system around the house (although Petalidi looks safe and friendly). And Vasilis is great host and ready to help with anything.

It has everything what you need including xbox and games, BBQ on the beautiful terrace, Espresso machine with Illy, perfect sea view, … Vasilis was so great to support us with all initiatives that we have planned ! This apartment has everything you need for an amazing holiday regardless the season. Winter or summer it doesn’t matter because the place is prepared for every occasion. Fully equipped kitchen, spacious terrace with a grill facility and THE VIEW! Beds were very comfortable with a sheets of a 5 stars hotel quality. Some quality of a towels. Plus extra touches from our host like a welcoming pack with a bottle of wine or many great recommendations what to do and where to eat. Apartment is spotlessly clean and it feels like home.

This was honestly the best accommodation I have ever had. It was so well arranged that after coming back home, we have actually made some adjustments and renovations inspired by our experience! The host is super welcoming. When we mentioned that we're traveling with a child, we got not only a pack'n'play and bedding, but also a musical chair and a small cot, which were super handy. The view is awesome, the terrace we've practically lived in, going for a seaside walk was simply going down the stairs, also you can see a part of central square from the balcony, so you never miss the market day or another big event. Petalidi is a great small town to stay in, has a couple of supermarkets, a morning fish market, an indoor fruit and vegetables market, and also we got to experience the big local market on Thursday morning - delicious fruits, ripe veggies, olive oil, dried figs, chestnuts and other delicious stuff right from the farmers. Overall, I can't recommend enough this accommodation - we've made our fondest memories here.
