Local, authentic, simple in the best way. Fabulous owners who nothing was too much trouble for.. Loaned us paddle board, fixed a broken shelf we didn’t even have time to tell them about, dropped us to the supermarket, gave us coffees and ice creams as we had to wait for our room. Clean comfy rooms with air con, lovely view to pool and sea. All Amazing. Quieter location which we loved, great nearby bars and restaurants.

The staff is very nice as mentioned previously mentioned. There is a very nice beach 5 minutes walk (uphill to return ).

The high score in booking I’m guessing is a mix of price and the family being helpful. But the hotel is old and while it is very clean it deeply needs renovation….. so take into consideration this is far from a luxury stay. Very basic . To be fair the hotel doesn’t premise anything otherwise. But the high score is a bit misleading.

The room was really nice, well equipped with electric stove, blender, large TV, etc. that can support your necessities during your stay. There was also a common pool available for guests, that is open until late, so you can enjoy a peaceful and relaxing evening. ✨ What I appreciated most was the girl at the reception that gave us detailed explanation and recommendation on where to go and eat in the island. She provided information on the beaches and even sent us a what’s app message with all the necessary links. 💕 Bonus was the “welcome ice cream” and water that they offered us during our stay! ☺️ There is also possibility to order breakfast in the room, but we didn’t try it, as we wanted to head early for the center of the island and the beach.

The WiFi works well only close to the reception.

Absolutely amazing family-run hotel, very clean, with comfortable beds, and a nice pool/snack bar. Location is good for the N/E side of the island. Great views from the room. Saw an amazing sunrise. Can walk 5 min to Vagia beach with nice sun beds and an excellent restaurant that will serve you drinks and food on the beach. Several excellent tavernas also a few min walk from the hotel. We the sweet family that runs the hotel loved most of all - so welcoming and friendly. They will gladly answer any questions you have, point you to the best spots, call taxis and restaurants for you. Amazing.

Nothing - all was well. Be aware that on the whole island of Aegina, cell/wifi service may be challenging to get at times.

The staff, especially Deppie, were exceptionally helpful, recommending local restaurants, arranging transport, etc. The pool was very clean and there was good space to sit nearby. The beach was close, with fun waves and the beach restaurant was very nice. We also walked up to the Temple of Aphaia, 50-minute hike from the apartment, and well worth the effort.

The wi-fi signal was a bit erratic, but only a minor issue.

Best place to be in Aegina if you want some peace and quiet and are on a budget. The hotel is spotless clean and the hosts are gracious and friendly, doing above and beyond for guests. Thank you angelic and family for your hospitality and care ❤️

We had an amazing stay, the managers and staff were very kind and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The place is very well located and sublime, the beach is a 3-minute walk away, with very few people and the water is turquoise.

Fantastic stay. Really welcoming staff. Knowledgeable and helpful. Loved the ice cream on arrival! The pool was great!

Absolutely loved our stay at Blue Dolphin. It is a family-run small hotel with super friendly owners - they couldn't have been more helpful and friendly . Great pool, pick up from the ferry, got get tips on local restaurants (all of which were great) and close to the beach. We hope to come back one day.

The best of the place, is the lovely family: father and mother and four daughters, who run the place in a very nice and friendly manner. They solve everything you want, always with a smile.

Can't tell, as there were no issues. The only thing that could be improved is the breakfast: a bit of veggies and stronger coffee would make it perfect, but it's not a big deal.

Secluded but amazing views and close to the main town by car. Cute family running hotel with well taken care of rooms. Loved the swimming pool! Such a treat for the kids

Amazing place, and the most attentive and serviceminded personell I have experienced in a while. We had a late check in, but no problems at all. Great view and location.

The location has breathtaking views and the rooms are all well appointed. The staff is extremely accommodating and friendly. They thoughtfully provided cold waters when we headed out for a day trip. The pool had a big shallow end which was perfect for our kids. The breakfast was delicious and included fresh fruit and coffee. I would definitely stay here again!

Staff was super nice and willing to help and answer all our questions. They gave us complimentary drinks and ice-cream when we arrived. They also let us stay beyond checkout hours for our convenience. The breakfast they have is also very good!

The area is a bit isolated and hotel service ends early, so if you're hungry/thirsty after 9pm, you have to go to a local taverna. Late delivery is also only available from a couple tavernas only. Make sure to have stocked up on snacks!
