One staff member on reception was really unhelpful, after we checked out I needed to use a kettle to make a bottle for my 4 month old son, you would think i asked for her left kidney with how unwilling she was to help. She proceeded to mock us after eventually supply a broken kettle… I guess once you’ve checked out and they’ve had your money they’re not bothered?! Luckily there was a younger lady on reception who did help.

Lots to do, entertainment round the pool was great, beach access from the hotel. Food was great and there was a lot of variety.

Lack of plug sockets. No shaving socket or a socket near the mirror to use hair straighteners. Poor lighting. The pool opening times 10 till 6 was ridiculous. Not available for an early morning swim, and if we had children, it would have been horrendous! Having to pay extra for sunbeds as the accommodation was pretty expensive in the first place.

The only area I’d suggest improving is the reception staff. While some team members are very friendly and helpful, others could benefit from working on their attitude.

The hotel is really nice and comfortable. Very close to the airport, which is a big plus. Food is tasty, various dishes to choose from. The hotel's area is safe and the beach is just few steps from the swimming pool. Room was clean and the view was breathtaking! Overall our stay was perfect 👌

I don't consider this a problem, but be aware that it's not a sandy beach, you may take your aqua shoes.

We were on half-board, both the breakfast and dinner were wonderful. The staff were really hard-working and lovely. The hotel is located right at the seaside and has its own beach, which was wonderful surrounded by many palm trees.

You are directly under the flight path so can't escape the noise. Better blackout curtains needed.

We booked this hotel for the last night of our greek islands trip as it was close to Rhodes airport. Our room was a good size with a lovely balcony with a pool and seaview. The bed was very comfortable Breakfast was amazing! So much choice and freshly made omelettes. The bar staff were really friendly and made great cocktails. There is a snack bar near the beach with very reasonably priced pizzas, sandwiches, gyros etc. There is a small shop near reception where you can buy water/ snacks/ suncream etc We had a late flight but there is somewhere to shower and change even after checking out. Plenty of nearby restaurants and supermarkets.

The location of the hotel is on the flight path to Rhodes airport, so it is not the most relaxing of environments. In addition the hotel provides entertainment, which went rather late into the evening. We stayed at Blue Horizon because of the proximity of the hotel to the airport and an early departure the following day. We did not get a good nights sleep as a result of the above issues...so beware.

The facilities here are fine and as expected. Nice pool and nice room and deck area.

The wifi was very weak. It came off as a bit dated but you could also call this traditional, we liked it.

The food was excellent, there was something there for everyone. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool and beach areas were nice. It was really clean and comfortable. It was quiet at night time I.e. after 11pm. It had a family feel to it and there were people from all over staying there. The entertainment was very good, the guy doing most of the entertainment was like a one man show, full of energy and joy. We would definitely stay here again. There is a close by strip with lots of shops and restaurants. It's about 15 mins from the airport and about 20 mins to Rhodes town. Keep in mind Rhodes town gets very busy at night time and it may take longer to get there.

The breakfast I found was quite bland but there was a wide selection!

The property, although quite basic, was clean, well located and filled with friendly staff. The pool area was lovely and the beach ( directly in front of the hotel ) was lovely.

Paying for sunbeds at the beach is very disappointing for a stay that is also not cheap. Food could be a little bit more authentic not too continental.

Waiters in restaurant were really friendly. Pool is nice, with sunbeds around. There is a bus (paid extra) that transfers to the city centre right from the hotel. There is opportunity to surf at the beach (also paid extra, even for absolute beginners with lessons).

I was worried about less gentle people in the bathroom could maybe let the beautiful glass door hit against the toilet. It really needs a stopper behind the door.

Music was constantly played around the pool area, sometimes from guest speakers as well as the hotel speakers. It didn't always feel restful. Our room felt tired, which was surprising as I had booked a superior room with sea view. These are supposedly newly renovated. We also had been given a suite of 2 rooms. The air con worked in the sitting area but was not very powerful in the bedroom. It wasn't until check-out, when I queried what room we'd been given that they said they'd given me an upgrade to a suite. It would have been nice to have been told this at check- in, because I think I would have chosen the superior room, as booked.

The view from our room was just wonderful. A great place to sit and watch the sunset. Housekeeping staff were very friendly and left beautiful 'towel-art' on our bed each day. We arrived late evening on our first night and to compensate for missing dinner, we were given a token to use for lunch one day. The pool was clean and refreshing and not too busy. We liked how the hotel was right next to the beach. This side of the island gets most of the sea breeze but to be honest, it was very welcome. The food was amazing and offered lots of choice. We especially enjoyed the 'Asian' night. Wonderful stir-fries, salads and sushi!

Good location for beach (great for windsurfing) but not near anything of interest. Overall very decent hotel but nothing special- except staff who were genuinely friendly and helpful.

The property is a bit dated and in need of some updating but still well maintained. The sun loungers were a bit run down. Limited vegetarian options too but that’s standard for hotels really. The lock on my door was clearly recently replaced (there was a gap around it covered in duct tape), and I did have someone let themselves into my room while showering which as a solo traveler was unwelcome.

Lovely grounds and kept super clean. The buffet food was good, but was truly exceptional when they had Greek food, which I really wish they had more often. Staff were very helpful and I really loved the family vibe they had with some staff bringing their children to the pool on Sunday. They have loads of transfers to the main attractions at very reasonable Prices and the beach is lovely. There’s lots of restaurants and shops nearby too. You are in the airport flight path but so is every other hotel on the west side near the city if you want to stay in this location and it’s only ever for a few moments.

The hotel is on the landing route of planes. Rooms facing the street are noisy. Air conditioning starts on June 1st. Deckchairs on the beach cost 4 euros extra.

Nice swimming pool surrounded by palm trees. Right next to the beach. Comfortable beds. Tasty and varied breakfast.
