Reviews of Boat Aiolis in the Athenian Riviera!

Denise kept in touch during the booking stage. She answered lots of my questions and arranged our transport from the port to the dock. Haiko (apologies if spelling is incorrect) greeted us at the boat and prepared some drinks for us. Yannis joined shortly afterwards. He discussed the proposed itinerary and dietary requirements with us, before sailing along the Athenian Riviera. They anchored with a view of a local bay. We swam for around an hour. They both prepared our meal during this time. A meal; more of a feast. Yannis did more than I could in 30 years of marriage. He got my husband to eat and enjoy seafood! The dishes that he cooked were delicious and proudly presented to us by Haiko. We had booked the captains cabin. We showered and returned up on deck in time for the sail home, witnessing a beautiful sunset as we went. The bed was spacious, comfortable and clean. We awoke to quite the breakfast selection the next morning, up on deck. Thank you, it was wonderful, a perfect, intimate way to spend our anniversary. We would highly recommend the gastronomic cruise and stay. Worth every penny 😊.

'Walking the plank' on to the boat, may be difficult for some. When swimming in the open sea, less confident swimmers may benefit from a life jacket.

This was an unforgettable experience—my first time staying on a boatel, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve made. The boat was incredibly comfortable, beautifully maintained, and full of character. What made it truly exceptional was the daily cruise trips, the positive energy on board, and most importantly, the people: Captain Giannis and crew member Khaiko were absolutely amazing—professional, warm, and always making sure we felt at home. The seafood meals were a highlight—cooked with salty sea water and pure Greek olive oil, offering a truly organic and local experience. The onboard bar served excellent Greek wines and drinks at any time, making the evenings even more enjoyable. Every day felt like a new adventure, followed by calm evenings under the stars with gentle waves and Greek melodies.

Honestly, nothing at all. I only regret that I didn’t stay longer.

Everything was amazing.

What a fantastic experience. We had to book a place to stay for one day in Athens and found this sailing yacht. So happy we did. We had a very warm welcome by Yannis and Haiko. Fantastic hosts that make you feel special. They showed us our cabin and perfectly explained how things worked. We were asked for our breakfast preferences for the following morning. The breakfast was wonderful. I can highly recommend to stay here instead of a hotel.

Everything was perfect

From the moment I stepped on board I felt at home. The crew is lovely. It was my home away from home. Definitely coming back.

Due to the daily trips arranged, we had to leave early and return late, something that has not been communicated nor anticipated

We loved everything about our stay on Boat Aiolis. We booked 2 nights and a sunset gastronomy cruise and it was the perfect end to our Greek holiday. The crew was absolutely fantastic and the food cooked by Captain Giannis was the best of our 3 week trip. What a fantastic experience - thank you to everyone involved!

Definitely not a children friendly environment, and it’s not in line with what is being advertised on the Booking and Google.

Yannis is super friendly which makes the experience unique.

Best experience ever! To do once in life! Yannis was very kind with us, the boat is amazing, we had every comfort! They offered us a delicious breakfast and everything we needed was provided to us.

The boat is easy access to the marina, very well maintained. I booked the experience but unfortunately it was cancelled due to another party cancellation and weather. I had a great sleep on the boat, Yannis was a wonderful host ensured I had all I needed for a comfortable stay. I will book again when in Athens and enjoy the sailing and boat experience next time.
