Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

What a Fabulous beautiful peaceful setting just perfect for the holiday we were looking for. All the staff were so welcoming friendly and helpful and were there for you if and when needed. The gardens are beautifully maintained along with impeccable cleanliness and attention to detail from all the staff, in both the rooms and all outside areas of the hotel. The breakfasts lunches and evening meals were outstanding along with the wine and service. We loved it so much we booked for next summer. We can’t thank you all enough as we wanted a peaceful relaxing holiday away from the busy life we have back home in the UK and you came up with the perfect mix and blend of care and attention with smiles and friendliness we so love about Greece, without it being false and forced as it can be in many other places and countries. We are really looking forward to our return next year. Thank you all so much Barbara and Hugh from Manchester UK 🥰🥰🥰

Austriathere are a few minor Things, that are no real negativ Things, but i personaly would Change it. 1. the pillows in the bed are pretty hard, If you are used to very soft pillows 2. the Food in the Restaurant is so delicious, but the plating could be a bit nicer/fancier. 3. Food and Drinks in the Restaurant are a bit pricy, there are cheaper Options in the town, but the quality is worth the price. 4. breakfast is relativ small but you can Order quite a few things Like omlete, scrambled eggs ect. they make everything fresh for you. which tasted very good. 5. the only thing i think they could do different is the Coffee in the room. they charge per used capsule 2,50 Euros. i havent experienced that yet in any Hotel. in my opinion they should just do the Coffee for free and Just make the room a bit more expensive. i am sure some people will complain about the Coffee Costs. it Looks like a Lot, but i really liked my stay there and can only recommend it. its definately one of the best Hotels in rhodes.
the Hotel, is close to be perfect. The Hotel is small and cosy, and the stuff is super helpfull. The Hotel has a lot of plants around, also a Pool and a jacucci. its super quiet and the rooms are really nice. the Restaurant has really good Food. the breakfast is very good too. the Location is in my opinion great, because you are in 15-20 minutes in lindos by easy Walking. its the perfect Hotel, If you Look for a nice small relaxing Hotel. i wouldnt recommend it, for people who wanna Party.

DenmarkWifi was unstable at best. Unfortunate as mobile coverage was poor in the area. The bar charged the highest price we have ever experienced in any country. Unsurprisingly, the hotel became quite empty in the evening as everyone went out for cheaper drinks and food.
Nicely decorated hotel in a quiet area with large rooms and amazing view of the mountain ridge, the sea and the Acropolis. Large and comfortable bed. The service was attentive and helpful and the breakfast very delicious and varied.

United KingdomThe wifi was quite intermittent which I didn't care about (switching off from reality) but might be an issue for others. I think it was just an issue at the time.
We loved our stay at Caesars Garden Hotel & Spa. It's a beautiful hotel with really friendly staff and great service. We loved the swimming pool and the garden area. You could see the acropolis from our room which was a bonus!

United KingdomPeople mention several things in other reviews that I agree with, yes there is a bit of a walk to Lindos itself, but this is easily done if you have good mobility and we actually quite enjoyed the walk after a meal. There is definitely a rooster which does crow early in the morning but you get used to it after 1 night and the hotel is worth this and any other slight negative there might be is well outweighed by the positives about this hotel.
This hotel is amazing. I loved everything about it. We got upgraded on arrival which really made our holiday and we were so grateful. The decor/atmosphere at the hotel is perfect for relaxation - it feels high end but still comfortable and not at all stuck up. The staff make you feel really at home and were all great. The private pool bungalows were amazing for couples- if we came back I would try and stay in one again for sure. The main pool area is lovely, so clean and well thought out. Definitely enough sun beds for all guests at once if needed which I loved. Secondary area with large jacuzzi pool set in gardens is also lovely. If you are considering this place but are wondering if it is worth the bit extra money it really is.

United KingdomThe owner visited a few times in the week I was staying and he’s a very loud man - it’s nice that he greets his staff well but he didn’t think that guests are here to relax and not be disturbed by loud greetings and discussions.
Loved that it was a small boutique hotel - never felt busy and it was so quiet. You could always get a sunlounger, the food was excellent and staff very attentive. The location is perfect, it’s away from all the busy areas so feels really secluded but it is very easy to walk down to Lindos. The rooms are very stylish, with everything you’d need for your holiday, and you could never hear any of the other rooms. Would absolutely recommend and will visit again.

United KingdomLindos itself was not our preferred type of location but as we were staying for two days we didn't really need to explore much. We did go to the acropolis one evening.
The breakfasts were fantastic. The staff were attentive and friendly. The pool areas were stylish and well-maintained and the bedrooms were just perfect.

FranceI would agree that breakfast could be replenished to cater for guests showing a bit late in the morning but still within the breakfast hours. Also, it is true that the lunch/dinner/snacks menus are extremely expensive and therefore off-putting for most guests who would prefer to go to the supermarkets nearby to stock up with food and snacks. I would definitely recommend the hotel to review their pricing.
Caesars Gardens was exactly what we were looking for in terms of relaxation and quietness. Although located a short walk from the town centre (yes there's a hill but it's quite subjective as we had no issue with the walk), this hotel offered so much peace away from the crowd that seems to hit Lindos day and night. Our room was incredibly comfortable and luxurious, it offered plenty of space for a couple. The whole staff (from reception, cleaning team and restaurant staff) was extremely friendly and accommodating as well. Also, thumbs up for the free library. Overall, this was a truly high quality hotel for guests seeking a luxurious and romantic getaway. Note: we didn't use the spa, so we cannot comment on it.

United KingdomA little out of the way, the walk back from town can be tough even at night!
The rooms are a great size and really comfortable. Staff are friendly and there for everything you need. Food at breakfast was great, and while we only had lunch once this was really nice too. There was also a relaxing pool area with no rush for sunbeds even if you came late, I saw nobody putting towels on sunbeds early which is common at most hotels.

United KingdomThe hotel really exceeded our expectations. We arrived late at night and we were greeted with welcome drink, check in was smooth and quick. The bungalow that we stayed at was exceptionally clean and the A/c was on when we arrived which we really appreciated. The idea of how they serve breakfast is beyond impressive. The food super delicious. The service over all is in extreme high standards. I had birthday during our stay and my partner went to speak with reception to surprise me and just under 3 hours notice, when we came back from dinner, I found flowers, Prosecco and fruit platter in our room.

GermanyOverall we liked everything and would like to comeback, I just need to second that golf car transfer from the city would be really nice as going up the mountain after nice dinner isn’t very cool experience. Breakfast quality also was not as high as we expected but it was okay, however this was holding us back from trying dinner choices as the prices were quite high we did not want to risk it. Lastly, our upstair neighbors were pretty loud which was annoying but I guess there is not much to do with sound isolation to improve it.
Dreamy environment, beautifully maintained gardens, calm and relaxing atmosphere. I wish we chose the room with a private pool, that would be ultimate honeymoon experience.
