Room was super clean, modern, spacious, luminous, quiet with garden view and overall just perfect. Johanna the owner was very polite and helpful providing all sorts of info about the island and so was the cleaning ladyKaterina. Last but not least we loved the several choices of espresso capsules as we could enjoy a decent cup of coffee on our balcony.

Clean comfortable room walking distance to all restaurants

The room was very spacious. location was great, very close to all beaches. Owner was very friendly and helpful.

A very clean and comfortable quadruple room.

This is a family-run hotel that is a new property with all the most important facilities—coffee maker, clothes drying rack, balcony, fridge, parking, new shower. Lovely and helpful hosts.

Nothing. It’s not a luxury stay but very comfortable, clean and well maintained and hosted.

It was perfect, huge recommendation. The property looks even better in person. It’s close to the town’s beach, port and street with all cafes and restaurants. The parking spots are nearby, with enough space and shades in the afternoon. Everything was tight and clean. The host Jovana was lovely, showed us around and also gave us tips for the island and even the rest of our trip through the Peloponnese. Hvala!

The location was great. We were in the middle of town and had access to both sides of the main strips which made it very convenient.

Great location! Comfortable room with coffee machine and capsules. Cups and plates provided. The hotel is all/renewed, clean, beautiful. Very friendly owner, ready to help. Highly recommended.

Calm, clean and super nice staff!

Everything was far far above expectations. Jovana is a true gem that cares about her guests. We traveled with 4 young kids and she was extremly helpful. She offered us countless extra accomodations, including an extra bed and bed rail for my younger kids, extra plastic cups and bowls, and toys for them to play with from her own kids. Also a tent and floatie jacket for the beach and free bottle of sparkling wine for us to enjoy on the balcony after the kids went to sleep which was really nice for us to have a chance to relax after running after 4 kids all day. The room was perfect, spacious and nicely renovated with a comfortable bathroom and smart tv that was good for the kids to watch youtube. Thank you Jovana for making our stay as easy as possible with 4 very active young kids.

The quadruple room was a great size for our family of four. It was spacious and comfortable and had plenty of room for luggage. Everything was clean and the staff were helpful and kind.

As compared to the other hotels we stayed at on our trip, no breakfast was available and there wasn’t much space outside of our room to hang out. The price was higher than any of our other hotels, simply because of its location on an island but the location within the town was not particularly noteworthy, especially compared to other places we stayed.

Very friendly owners, nothing was too much trouble for them. We would love to stay there again.

Nothing, everything was perfect!

From the moment we arrived at Calypso Hotel, we knew we were in for something special. The warmth and attention to detail shown by Jovana and the team made our stay unforgettable. Their hospitality exceeded expectations—they surprised us with a beautifully decorated room, complete with flowers and a single elegant rose for our 45th wedding anniversary. After dinner, we returned to find a bottle of sparkling wine waiting, amazing! A huge thank you, especially to Katerina, whose thoughtful gesture deeply touched us and set the tone for our visit. Jovana and her husband own this beautiful hotel, and sharing their local expertise made the trip even more memorable. Her recommendations for places to visit and dine were all highlights from charming seaside tavernas and hidden spots to quiet sunset views with tables right on the sand we experienced Elafonisos like locals. The hotel itself is spotless, stylish, and extremely comfortable. Our room was modern and well-equipped, with a coffee machine, tea selection, sleek air-conditioned interiors, and a contemporary bathroom. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful night after each day’s adventure. On-site parking—a rarity on the islands was also a welcome convenience. Some of our favorite touches included the complimentary beach tote bag, a simple yet clever idea that made exploring the turquoise waters easier, and the candlelit entrance that welcomed us back each evening. Whether lounging by the beach or strolling charming streets, these little touches always reminded us of the care and creativity that define Calypso Hotel. In every way, Calypso Hotel exceeded our expectations. With genuine hospitality, thoughtful details, and pristine accommodations, it felt less like a hotel and more like a heartfelt welcome into a home away from home.

Sometimes the water temperature would fluctuate however the team were onto it. Otherwise not too much more.

The hotel is very nice, very recently renovated in a modern and elegant style. The room are very functional and organized in a very intelligent way, in order to get the best from the available space. Everything get thoroughly cleaned daily and the owners are very nice.

Everything was perfect, great customer service

This was our second stay in Calypso and we enjoyed it as much as the first time. The rooms are very spacious, it is super clean and the host Jovana made us feel totally welcome - answering and question we had and attending to any request we addressed to her. The hotel also has good parking s and is 5 mins walking distance to every restaurant in the village. We very much recommend the place. Big thanks, Jovana!

Spacious room with good facilities and nicely decorated. Grate location few minutes walk to the port. Large parking area. Super nice host is very helpful and dedicated to this place
