It was all exceptional - no complaints, and no improvements to suggest

Everything was top notch - the rooms, the service, the amenities, the view, the location, the food and drinks. We didn’t want to leave and are already plotting when we can return! Particular callouts on the staff - they were excellent individually and were also clearly working as a high-performing team. The team at the front desk (can’t recall all the names!), Christophe the manager, Christophe the leader in the restaurant at breakfast and his entire team, really made us feel special and spoiled during our stay!

The confusion over the room not matching the booking.com description was uncomfortable. They were nice and accommodating and I felt like a total “Karen” saying anything. But it’s expensive so it seemed it should be right.

Canaves Oia Suites is in a great location in Santorini - shops, restaurants and all the sights are right there! Our room lovely, very clean, the patio was wonderful. Such amazing views at all hours. We enjoyed having breakfast there each morning. The patio was more private than some others. The room wasn’t quite as described on booking.com. They showed us some other rooms but we decided to stay put. The manager said to always check the property website to be clear what room you’re getting. They did bring us a bottle of wine and plate of meat and cheese, which was nice. The staff was helpful, friendly and accommodating. I have MS and use a cane when traveling. The stairs were a bit of a challenge but do-able for me. We were able to use the elevator to get to the lobby and restaurant. I recommend having them arrange travel to/from the port/airport. The price seemed high but it was equivalent to what we found at the port and would have been private instead of stuffed into a small bus that dropped everyone else off.

Liked everything about this hotel. All was perfect . It lived up to our expectations of a five start hotel . The housekeeping services were excellent , the breakfast was very good and the staff was very welcoming .

This is relative to each individual, but the bed itself could be more comfortable for me. It wasn’t bad though. I like medium-soft, beds are a bit more medium-firm.

The hotel staff here are top-notch. Unbeatable views. The staff upgraded my room as a nice surprise. The food is good, especially compared to the rest of Oia. Recommend the crab salad, shrimp and the Santorinian salad. The loungers in the infinity pool are a nice touch and the pool lounge chairs are also super comfortable. I stayed at Canaves Suites and Katikies(nearly next door). The service at Canaves Suites exceeded Katikies, and I wouldn’t have thought that possible. Staff is genuine.

Great value for your money. The best views, and you don't have to go down 300 steps as compared to the others which give lesser value... The breakfast was perfect The staff were amazing, and it was even more comfortable seeing a staff or two from other races.

We were the last days before closure for this year.Maybe more care at breakfast menu even there is a countdown.

Everything was great. Beautiful location,beautiful hotel. Everybody nice and helpfull. We had an amazing room. Unbelievable view even from bed. I want to expres special praise to the maid.She did everyday a great job.

Location was perfect. Right in the heart of all the activity but still tucked away in a quiet spot. The included breakfast was probably one of the best I have ever had and the view while you ate was incredible. The pools were always great with beautiful views. Entire hotel was spotless and clean.

Food prices - especially for the lunch menu

The views are breathtaking from every part of the property. It feels quiet and calm despite being situated in the middle of Oia. The staff are kind and attentive and even gave us a complimentary upgrade to a superior suite. The room was beautiful - if you are booking, book a superior, it’s much more private. All in all a wonderful stay and gorgeous hotel. Highly recommend
