Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

The room was a good size for our family of 4. The pool was small (as expected) but the kids had fun in it to cool down. We were close to a few nice restaurants and the hop on hop off bus. Staff were great at arranging taxi to the port. Good stay for a couple of days

United KingdomFor some reason, they put me in a room with a disabled wet room instead of a bathroom. That meant everything got wet when I had a shower. The bed was very firm - maybe that's a requirement for the disabled but I found it uncomfortable, staying for two nights.
The rooftop terrace is lovely when you find the quieter section with a stunning view of the Parthenon. They serve a very nice Aperol Spritz and the Tortillas and Guacamole were the best I've had in years!

CanadaThe bathroom was really small for a family room. Every morning there was cigarette smell coming to the room. We didn’t know if if came through some vents or AC but we had to open windows every morning to air out the rooms. Location is a bit sketchy so you need to walk until you get to a more touristy area or take metro.
The pool and rooftop patio was the best feature of this hotel. We had a newly renovated family room with 2 rooms which worked really well for our family of 4. Rooms were spacious and had everything we expected. Staff was friendly and helped us anytime we had questions.

AustraliaThere is very little sound-proofing in the room and there were kids in the next room making lots of noise, which meant a very late night. Nothing in the area and it didn’t feel overly safe.
Room was well equipped, with good bathroom facilities. Accessible from either Larissa or Metaxagourgeio train station. 2 lifts, although they were not overly big, they did fit 2 large cases and 2 people. Used the Suburban line from Athens airport to Larissa station, which was an affordable easy way to get to the hotel.

United StatesThe rooms and bathrooms are nothing special. The buffet breakfast was nothing to write home about.
The food at the bar and pool area on the roof top was very good. The pool was just right for hot summer nights in Athens. The view of the acropolis is awesome. The staff at the front desk were great. The bartenders were the best. I would stay here again.

United KingdomA bit further out from town, short walk to metro. Although there are quite a few gems of local coffee shops, restaurants around the area.
The rooms were clean and modern, a typical hotel room. We were a family of 4 and had one room with 4 beds. Bathroom was modern and clean. Rooms were serviced everyday. Best part was the rooftop, pool, bar and sitting area. Was great to be able to retreat upstairs for a swim in the heat of the day and have views of the Acropolis. Pool is not huge but enough to sit and look out over city. Also nice in evening to chill out and have a drink with views of city at night. Helpful reception.

United StatesVery small elevator, had to take 2 trips with 2 people and 2 bags each. Room was basic, nothing to take pictures of, but it was comfortable and served its purpose. Parking, nonexistent. It was difficult getting bags from the car to the hotel and when leaving as well.
Rooftop was very nice, very nice views. The breakfast!!! Oh my goodness, everything was delicious. Authentic! This made the stay worthwhile. And the proximity to everything transportation wise, the hop-on hop off buses, the metro. Restaurants. Located centrally to what we came to see.
