How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments

- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).

Verified reviewI had a great stay at this apartment! The location is perfect — right in the heart of the city, with many tourist attractions, restaurants, and shops within walking distance. It made getting around super convenient. The host was incredibly kind and generous — honestly one of the nicest people I've ever met. Even before I arrived, He was already helping me with everything, from directions to local tips. He also gave me local snacks and souvenirs as a gift, which was such a thoughtful gesture. I felt very welcomed and well taken care of throughout my stay. I was truly impressed and touched by the hospitality. Highly recommended!

It had everything we could possibly need: all the facilities were provided, and to our surprise, the fridge was fully stocked with soft drinks, beer, water, fresh fruit, and even a bottle of wine — all complimentary! The host was truly the master of hospitality. Warm, welcoming, and always available if needed, he went above and beyond to make us feel at home. One morning, he even brought us fresh croissants — such a thoughtful and generous gesture! A genuinely pleasant person who clearly cares about his guests’ experience. Verified reviewAmazing location, surrounded by the best neighbourhoods. We walked everywhere for food, shopping and bars. Anton was the best host ever, nothing was a problem and he was always so lovely and generous. The apartment is very clean, spacious and has everything you need for your stay. The fridge is filled with water, drinks, wine and snacks. We had the best stay, thank you Anton and Andrew for hosting us.

Verified reviewI decided on this place because of the stunning reviews and location near the Acropolis and shopping. I really wanted to see if the hosts lived up to their reviews. They were mind-blowingly better!! They could not have been more attentive - it's like having a concierge. They provided videos on how to get into the building, to the room, through the door etc, but then also met us at the building. Any question asked about getting around town was answered with detailed explanations on how to get tickets, where, how to use the machines. Phenomenal. They gave us wonderful, fresh-baked croissants hung on our door in the morning, and they gave us a bottle of olive oil when we left. The apartment itself was a cut above most I have rented because of the little details. It was fully furnished with food, snacks, wine, beer, sodas - all part of the price - and the facility itself was spotless and well furnished. A nice kitchen. two bedrooms and baths (showers), lots of room. Air conditioning. dishwasher. Stop by the Athens Cat Cafe for some fun! See photos Definitely worth a stay
These are all pretty minor to me: Americans like microwaves to heat up leftovers. Europe just doesn't seem to have them, and neither did this wonderful apartment. There is a balcony and it's fairly large, but it has no great view or plants or ambiance. We weren't going to use it, but just wanted to give everyone a picture. I downgraded the safety of the area by one, but I don't really know anything about Athens. We walked around at night and never felt unsafe. You're in downtown Athens and the entrance to the building is just a non-descript door in a side street that has mainly shuttered over the weekend. But the building itself is locked up tighter than a drum, and the hosts live on the same floor. Guess I'm a little biased against big cities.

Verified reviewI’m really glad I chose this place to stay. The room was clean and spacious, and the location was excellent — quiet and peaceful, yet conveniently situated. Overall, I was very satisfied. The host was absolutely wonderful — not only was he proactive in offering helpful suggestions, but he also arranged an airport transfer for our return trip that was even cheaper than taking a taxi. The host generously provided a great selection of snacks and drinks in the room.In the middle of our stay, the host even thoughtfully gave us a box of famous croissants — they were absolutely delicious! The overall experience was fantastic, and the value for money was excellent. I highly recommend this place to any travelers looking for a great stay.

Others are in hospitality because they are passionate about serving people. Anton is one of those people who is passionate about serving people and making sure travelers have a great experience while away from home. He went over and beyond. Verified reviewOur biggest luck in Athens was our host Anton and his sweet home. The location of the apartment is great, walking distance to everywhere. The safety of the apartment is very important to my mother and me. Anton had put snacks, drinks, coffee, tea, water and many other things in the apartment for us. The apartment was extremely clean and bright. He had thought of everything at home. Extra towels, blankets, everything was there. The terrace of the apartment is extremely beautiful and relaxing. Anton helped us with everything. I asked our host Anton for a local SIM card and he immediately provided it for me. My mother's suitcase was broken during the trip, Anton gave his suitcase to my mom. Anton is a very good person !! He brought us lovely croissants.And he took us to the airport his car, so that my mother wouldn't get tired, she was a little old. He gave us a gift on our way back to our country. Anton is one of the nicest people we know and the best host. I wish every host could be like Anton. When we come back and our friends come, we will definitely stay at Anton's apartment.

Words cannot describe the kindness and professionalism of Anton,the owner and manager of the apartments.His politeness and thoughtfulness made me feel much obliged and as we say in my mother tongue,his politeness enslaved me(more like enchanted me!!).Was patiently waiting for my taxi from the airport to hand over the key to me and show me around the flat.Greatly appreciated the offer of artistic croissants for the welcome and the free snacks and drinks(including beers and wine!).Bonus the fruits and coffee-tea bags!!The apartment itself is on 4th floor, very modern, squeaky clean and everything is labelled for our convenience! Lots of towels,sheets,blankets and all amenities that one might need for short or medium stay are there! Both air conditioners are there to ensure cool summer days and nights , while there is a big TV screen for the ones that don't want to miss anything on the news or sports.The area is full of eateries, cafeterias, bars etc and feels very safe at night,close to Syntagma square and with good connections to metro station from Syntagma or Monastiraki.I will definitely stay there again and I wholeheartedly recommend the apartment for any visitor.I wish all apartment owners and managers were like Anton, our world would be much better! Verified reviewEverything was perfect. Above all expectations!!! Clean apartment, in the center of Athens, a short walk to Ermo Street, The apartment was clean, it has everything. You feel that the host has thought through the smallest details. In addition to the expected things like oven, microwave, stove, coffee machine. The fully equipped kitchen was full of pampering surprises. Refrigerator full of drinks, wine, beer, soft drinks and water. Fruits and chocolates. The host Anton was just lovely, helped us with every question and request. He surprised us one morning with croissants and a bottle of olive oil. This is our first time in Athens and Anton's hospitality really made us excited. Absolutely an excellent choice of an apartment!!! We have no doubt that we will return there again and will also recommend to friends and relatives.

Verified reviewEverything! I wish I could leave 100 score in stead of 10. The host Anton really made his effort to make our trip so so pleasant. It beyond expectations.
Location: right in the centre of Athens, everywhere is walking distance. It has so many choices of food/drinks at the door step. We arrived at midnight, the restaurant a few meters away open until 3am. Thank you Anton to provide us all the information. Apartment is very clean and so comfortable! We are family of 4 with 2 children( 10 and 13). This apartment has 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms, excellent kitchen, fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, big balcony, and it is very secure. Last and most important/best of this journey is the host Anton, before our arrival he stocked our fridge freezer with so much water, soft drinks, wine, ice cubes, fruits, also biscuits chocolates coffee machine with capsules, etc. we had everything we needed, we did not need to go to the supermarket to buy anything at all! Anton is so thoughtful, he even dropped off Athens the best croissant to us it is so delicious. Anton met us on our arrival after midnight and put our luggage in the taxi on our departure. He is so helpful and polite. Thank you Anton! Thank you for the gift you gave to us too. You are the best host we have ever met. Verified reviewEverything. The property is pristine. Very clean. Beds are very comfortable. It has everything you need. The fridge was stocked with water, soda and beer! Just event had red wine, chocolates and fruits on the dining table! I was very impressed. Kitchen is well stocked as well will sugar, cooking oil and cooking utensils. I cooked eggs and bacon for breakfast. There's also a washing machine which was a plus. The location was very near to Monastiraki Square and to everything including Plaka, Acropolis, Syntagma Square, National Garden and the Olympic stadium. But the best part of our experience was having g an outstanding host. Anton went above and beyond to make sure we were always comfortable. He is always responsive in WhatsApp. And he constantly checked to make sure we were doing ok.

I have been coming to Athens for twenty years, at least 8/10 times a year, and I have seen dozens of hotels and apartments, but none can compete with casadestreshermanos.
