We traveled in August, and it was given us a room where they new the air conditioning was out of order (we found out later in the discussion, that the entire floor was off), we got to talk to the manager but they were insisting the hotel was full. When later after dinner we tried again with another staff and a new room was given to us without any questions and then it was all solved. But was totally unnecessary all the previous lies.

Location is great and the breakfast is also very good. It's an old building don't expect luxuries, but it's great location, quite easy to park around on the streets. Walking distance downtown.

Adding a table to the balcony will be good. Refillable toiletries feel like diluted makes a bad image for hotel.

Not quite 4 stars. A lot of areas were old and deteriorated. Parking not available near hotel. They do offer free parking but at a parking lot a few hundred meters away. No minibar. No furniture on the balcony. No sound isolation/privacy on the inside (bathroom/room, room/hallway). The bed was extra soft, felt a bit like a broken air-matress.

Breakfast with adequate options. The view from the restaurant and the posibility to eat on the outside. Staff was nice. Rather large balcony. Good sound isolation from the street noise.

Bathroom counter and sink had not been cleaned very well and towels had seen better days.

The location was good with a few restaurants and grocery stores near by. Breakfast buffet that was included in price was out of this world. Eating area was on the 5th floor with a view of the harbour and surrounding area.

The cleaning personel was too noisy in the corridor. The shampoo in the shower was mixed with (a lot of) water, probably for economy but it was unpleasant to use it. We found two (probably used?) towels in the bathroom, which the next day they were gone.

We got a sea view room. It was spacious, clean and with a large balcony. The bed was very soft but comfortable. The breakfast was decent with many local options to try.

Our room was on the 1st floor just above a busy street/ roundabout, and it was quite noisy at night, luckily we had earplugs because it wasn't the most comfortable. It's ok for a couple of nights.

Staff was absolutely lovely, and the breakfast was sensational! We particularly enjoyed the fact that all the food was labelled clearly to accout for allergies, dietary requirements etc. The view was excellent too. The place was easy to find and quite lose from the historic centre, so it was easy to walk there

Great option to stay in Hetaklion, outside of the business of the center, but it’s within walking distance. Great breakfast at the terrace with amazing views. Clean room, very comfortable bed. Reception is open 24/7 and staff is very helpful. They arranged the taxi for us.

Right on a roundabout. However the double glazing is efficient and I doubt a quiet hotel in the city is possible.

Good place to stay for our first 2 nights with a late arrival, 24 hr reception. Secure parking is arranged about 200m away . About 25 mins walk through the old town to the archaeology museum and Venetian harbour. Very good breakfasts with a huge buffet and delicious fresh salads etc as well as eggs and cooked items and pleasant bar up on the 5th floor with views over the walls. Lovely staff there. In fact we ate there for dinner our second night with the v reasonable and nice set menu, after a tiring day. An efficiently run hotel. Would return if needed a city base again

We booked this hôtel because we landed at Heraklion airport at 23h30 and didn't want to drive too much. The hotel is at a 10min drive from the airport and it's easy to find a parking place. The bed is comfortable, shower also good. The breakfast is a the last floor with a great view of the sea and is complete and good quality. The receptionist was kind and helpful

Located in a very noisy and busy road.

Excellent breakfast on the 5th floor very polite staff and very willing to help. Location with very good transportation on local buses. Markets and restaurants at 5 min walk.
