We were not expecting live music that was played by the pool bar until 11 PM on some days. It was rather loud and we heard it in the room. Additionally the room cleaning happened at a pretty late hour, so we never knew if the room is ready when returning around 3 PM (and once it has not been cleaned at all - but it was cleaned right away after raising the issue at the front desk). Lastly, on one occasion there was a stray (though collared?) dog roaming the hotel beach and approaching guests, and nothing has been done by the staff. As much as we love animals, having a damp dog jump on sunbeds and mess with guests' stuff is a bit annoying to say the least.

The panoramic sea view room was definitely worth it, with gorgeous view of a small grassy hotel beach and the incredibly blue sea. We also enjoyed the breakfast with good selection of hot and cold dishes. The staff was very nice and helpful. The room itself was spacious and well furnished. Additionally the hotel has a separate large parking just a minute walk from the main building, very handy if you rent a car.

Location is not the best, nothing around, nowhere to walk, not a wive place. Beach is also not the nicest.

Room looked different from pictures, but was noce. Breakfast was great.

Apparently very clean, but inside the sofas we found mold, which is not good at all, we were trevelling with our 1 year old child. We found the mold only during our last day. They should check all the sofas inside, not under.

The hotel is a bit run down. Not enough privacy for the suites as there are sunbeds directly in front of them.

We had a suite with a pool which we asked to change as we wanted more privacy. We were accommodated. We had half board and the quality of the food was good. The Greek yoghurt is beyond excellent, the Greek food in general was excellent and we have a lot to compare it to. The staff in the dining room were friendly, one evening we even caught a performance by Greek musicians. We used the local beach a couple of times. The beach is sandy with pebbles at the entrance, with no special features. The rest of the time we preferred to explore other beaches on the island. In the neighbourhood there are restaurants, shops, you can take excursions.

The room smelled very moldy it was overbearing, our private pool was never clean. They charge too much for their transfer and it’s only cash no receipts, we didn’t realise until we took our taxi without their help as they wanted us to pay for the taxi at reception instead of the driver if they called for one. They have a kids club but every time we went by no one was around. The staff at the breakfast were mostly Albanian and were swearing in their language just after we accidentally happened to spill some coffee on the floor..

There was a very bad odour coming from the toilet. There is definitely an issue with the sewage. Room is quite noisy - no soundproof door, plus the bath window being in the main corridor. The cleaning staff woke us up twice despite having the "do not disturb" sign on. They even entered the room once while we were asleep. - To the person who replied, your message shows the level of a professional you are. Most probably with a classic Rent a Room experience. The cleaning lady entered our room just to find us sleeping. Indeed I had parked on the road as many other cars - but I forgot I didn't have a BMW so that I wouldn't be disturbed. Have a great summer season working, living and paying your taxes in Greece. Enjoy!

Excellent view and an elegant furnished room. Great mattress and pillows. The hotel is a 5 star if you are a classic all-inclusive type of tourist that you don't care much of services level.

A bit further away from the main town than what we thought, more like 25-30 minutes than 20 minutes advised on Google maps.

The staff at the Cavo Orient were exceptionally friendly and hospitable, authentic Greek filodemo at its best. Great views from hotel and right by an unspoilt beach with beautiful turquoise sea.

The smell in the bathroom that had no ventilation was horrible each morning. The sheets and towels were not white and had some spots on it, even if they were clean, they looked old and very used.

The location was on the beach. Breakfast was good. Staff were nice. It's good to know that each room has a Nespresso machine. They did not provide Nespresso capsules, if I had known I would provide my own from home.

General attention to detail was below average with fixtures and fittings, our room wasn't clean one day with no explanation (not a problem but felt that was completely forgotten). We were the ones mentioning to the staff that the shower facilities were broken in the gym, they had no idea and it looked it had been like that for a while.

Big and comfortable bedroom. Good breakfast. Staff helpfull. Felt short for a 4* hotel unfortunately.

We stayed in the room with a private swimming pool, which was very nice. The view from the room was lovely. We had full board included, the food was very nice, with a lot of options. The staff were very nice and helpful.

Nothing we didn’t like, there was a couple of marks on the extra blankets we used out of the wardrobe but besides that everything was perfect!

It was in a remote location, very ideal for couples, the room and our swim up private pool was beautiful! The staff were all very friendly, handy that there was free parking on site too as we rented a car.
