How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewThe hotel has a beautiful view. The room is good size , very modern style and clean. At night time you can't hear any loud music. Compared Mykonos prices, Chiill out is good competitive price.we were very happy there.
The location is very close to the airport - this is a good point. The hotel is located on the hill when you go to the main center. i recommend putting on comfortable shoes.

Verified reviewlocation was great from airport n mykonos town, a short walk downhill to town. The room was stunning and had everything we needed. The pool facilities were perfect and very quiet during the day and was a great way to enjoy the stunning view. Everything was clean and the hosts were lovely and helped explain the bus system which was easily accessible from the hotel.

The bed and pillows were not very comfortable and there were a lot of ants in the room (coming from under the bed) The toilet seat wasn’t great either, very wobbly. Not soundproof, a lot of road and air traffic noise..

The private area was peaceful and spacious, offering the perfect escape while still being close to the town. The view was absolutely breathtaking — overlooking both the sea and the charming town below. Watching the sunset from here was one of the highlights of our trip! The place was spotless and clearly very well cared for. Everything felt fresh and clean, which made us feel immediately at home. The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming, always available if we needed anything, and full of great local tips. If you’re looking for a place to relax and enjoy everything Mykonos has to offer — stunning views, comfort, and warm hospitality — I can’t recommend this place enough. Verified reviewwas going to say something about the staff, but that would fall flat—because in most places, staff are generally expected to treat guests decently. I mean, that’s just the baseline, right? But what I want to talk about here is something completely different. If you’re trying to figure out whether a hotel truly suits you, you should first look at how the management treats their staff. That’s the real test. And I say this after staying in probably over a thousand hotels—seriously. What I saw here was something I hadn’t witnessed in a long time. Honestly, I mean it—my eyes welled up. The hotel owners treat their employees like real family. You can see it reflected in everything the staff do. I happened to be there by chance during a birthday party they organized for one of their employees. And I’m telling you from the heart—it was like watching a genuine family celebration. They make you feel like you’re part of that family too. It was incredibly moving.
When you think about it in terms of cause and effect, there’s absolutely no downside. I mean, if you want to sip a pornstar martini with that view in front of you—well, you’ll just have to climb that hill.

Our room was big , clean and great decor. A lovely private terrace area with lovely views. We liked it so much we are staying there again at the end of our holidays
Nothing. If we were being particular, some king of parasol or shade on our terrace would have been appreciated . Also not a criticism of the property but the walk back up from the town was hard work…, worth it for the views though
